By the way, FSA took 995 from (I believe) Coalition. Not from RA. I wouldn¦t be surprised if the station had like 2% shields when FSA started shooting it.

Actually in all seriousness I was thinking about the eve rule of personal attacks which is not on whoever is comes from, and 2 wrongs do not a right make. (Although this is a different conversation and I think the primary material this thread was intended for has well and truely expired)

Reading this posts and was thinking ...what arrogant people populate this forums ... Most probably FSA will be beaten and the system will fall in The Five hands but that will not be the end of the Alliance .... Time works for FSA, they have been beaten by RA, but it will be harder to beat FSA now ... and next time will be even harder ...
And -5- acting like this, it will just a question of time before U suffer the consequences .... because nobody starts to like you ...
I'm not from FSA but I will try real hard, to join their fleets asap ... I'll be blown away several times really easy, but each time will be a bit harder to shoot me ...and like me a few hundreds others...

If you understood the history (and I'm not claiming to know all of it) you would realize how hypocritical that statement sounds considering the similarities between why Saladin is upset and why you are now upset.
It's also nice to see you point out exactly what Saladin was trying to say, there is no accountability for what you say behind a computer screen. As you pointed out, if he said that to you in person you would "fricking knock his teeth out." The forums aren't real life, eve isn't real life, and it gives a lot of kids and idiots a place where they can say stupid **** and treat others like crap with no accountability. I think that was the point.
By the way, real life threats are lame as it's a ****** up world we live in today. You never know who is going to show up on your door or what they are going to show up on your door with. If you are in the military I would think you would know that better than anyone and would tame your responses.
There are obviously people in ATUK, and the other .5. corps who are fairly intelligent and I'm sure are pretty cool guys or you wouldn't have the alliance you have today. Unfortunately not all of those people post needlessly on the forums to represent your alliance and public perception of your alliance is created by those that do. Stormfront for one seems to be fairly mature and articulate in his responses in this as well as other threads, maybe more of your members should take lessons.
Just my thoughts, I don't want you on my doorstep so take them for what they're worth.

Not that I am scared about any RL threats, I didn't make any. I said that people in this game, particularly from [5] say things on these forums they would never do in real life.
A number of things have been done to me by the members of that alliance for no other reason than I wish to fight them. There was the local smack, and then the daily flaming e-mails. I dealt with them any sane man would, I started blocking people. Then the infamous blog soon came out after that. I never lied about anything but me complaining about these valid issues that go beyond the realm of a computer game were dismissed by their forum blob as feelings of bitterness. Not all my choices are my own, but I am happy where I am in the game. However, this does not mean that I should let everything slide while I see the same hipocrisy playing out again and again.

I donÆt smack until someone attacks me and then the gloves are off. That does not mean that IÆm looking for him in RL or anything, but I do not hide from anybody, especially while playing a game.
He wants to sound so mature and respectful, yet he insults me/us with comments like æinbred bastardsÆ. Well, I donÆt respond well to that and IÆll bet that he does not talk like that to people in RL, so heÆs contradicting himself with his own argument and is a hypocrite.
That was my point, not threatening him, since I donÆt care who he is in RL. Maybe if he left out the slander, his point would be valid, but since heÆs also hiding behind a screen, heÆs also guilty of his own deduction.

these forums arent a game, when you start eve, you play a game as long as you only interact with NPCs. As soon as you start talking crap in local, its the same like talking crap in real live.
