So i got a little bored last night so i went to a 0.3 system looking for something to kill. Killed a frig and noticed my sec status had dropped from 5.0 to 4.6 from just 1 kill. Now i didn't kill pod and i'm thinking as a 0.4 drop in security status is incorrect however if any1 could confirm this is right then that would be great. |

The way the maths works you get a bigger sec hit the higher your sec status is.
The formula is (the difference between your current sec status and -10)*
0.5% for aggression
2.0% for a ship kill
Therefore
15*.5%=.075 sec loss for aggression
Now you are 5-.075 = 4.925
and
14.925*2% = .2985 sec loss for ship kill
=4.925-.2985
=4.6265 after ship kill
Looks fine to me. That'll teach you, you ebil griefer!!!11!1!

1337 names are fine, as long as they don't go overboard...like 73h n008 kI114...never seen that one but I'm sure it exists.
Thanks for the formula by the way, it'll help me figure just how strong I should be before I go on a killing spree.

Well then, you should know its 12.5% for a pod kill and you need that to collect a bounty

Wait where did I mention bounty hunting? Or did you not know that's my plan and decided to toss in that info on the assumption that I'd be podding. Which I will, oh yes I will.
