The new NBSI Academy is now opening its doors for the new pvp term, we are accepting all applicants preferably with approx 1 mill sp + or been in game a month, however all applications will be considered on merit.
NBSI means Not Blue Shoot It, itĘs a pvp philosophy adopted by some alliances in EVE.
NBSI Academy benefits:
1) Full backing from the NBSI Alliance.
2) Excellent training drawing on the vast pvp knowledge from the NBSI Alliance.
3) Ship manufacturing & fitting assistance.
4) Skills training assistance.
Goals of the NBSI Academy:
1)To create a school where new players to EVE can join, meet other people of a like mind and have lots of fun.
2)To assist in the making of a new super breed of PVP players well trained from the outset of their careers in eve.
3)To bring new players on to graduation into the NBSI Alliance , only pvp pilots good enough will move up to the honor of NBSI Alliance pilot.
Gubbins:
Academy pilots will not have clearance to access any tactical information from the NBSI Alliance, this you get over dedicated time and the trust that is earned at your time with NBSI Academy, donĘt expect this to be a quick process.
Above all have fun and help your corpmates , one for all all for one.
Offices in Nonni, 3rd station from bottom of the list.

Spoke to Rasta tonight and he is very welcoming. This sounds like an excellent idea as there really are no catches. I will be signing up with my main.
Just one problem obviously the 3rd station from the bottom in Nonni is different depending on which gate you come in from? Got some more details please.

i been playing for 3 weeks now, have just over 300k sp, i joined a corp within my first day or so of playing and would like to move on. as i want to learn how to PVP and this sounds the best place to do it, would my low sp and lack of expirience be a problem (ive already had one rather condesendign reply of the UK corp over my low SP) i manly fly amarr frigs and destroyers at the moment but have enough skills to fly cruisers though im going to get them higher before jumping straight into larger ships.

Low SP aren't a problem from what I understand. This academy exists to teach new players how to pvp, fit ships properly for pvp, and learn how to tackle/ecm etc.

This academy is not only looking for new players to eve but also for new players to pvp, goal is to teach players how to pvp, set ships up different tactics, might askw hat we get out of it, well we get many new eager pilots joining, some of which if they are dedicated enough, and have a positive attitude can graduate into the ranks of one of our corporations and have access to 0.0 and the pleasure o joining our fleets to kill our enemies. By no means if you join are you required to join nbsi we are keeping this completely seperate as the main goal is to teach.

Not sure if it was mentioned before but the core corporations in NBSI Alliance might not be known to new players: Black Lance [TMPL], Euphoria Released [E-R] and Maza Nostra [M4Z4].
We recently switched to using http://killboard.eve-extra.com if you want to look up some statistics on the corps or any of the members.

MAZA nostra currently welcomes greek players only,but we may open our borders more( i said MAYBE,it isnt sure yet),though e-r and tmpl are excellent corpm8s that healp each other when needed.Now that trust is the most essential part at eve nbsi offers a wide range of pilots who help,trust eachother and work very closely.A good chance for new players to join and have some fun pvping and not being treated like mine slaves.I certainly recomend them.

Got a lot of good new recruits and all seems pretty damn nice and genuine.

I've honestly never heard of NBSI Alliance, nore NBSI Academy, though I do like the sounds of this adventure they have planned for those interested.
I think it's good to have people trying to teach the newer players of EVE. Perhaps you can usher a new era of respectable PvPers that could perhaps replace the more local chat orientated "pvpers" if that's what they could be called.

At work and bored,so it's time for some shameless bumping!
On a serious note,i can't say much more than what's already been said.We got our serious and our crazy moments,some pretty well executed ops and some pretty suicidal ones as well.We may go through half the map killing all the way with minimal losses one day,and jump into an obvious trap in our most expensive ships the next one,because it's fun!
You'll also get to witness a bunch of americans,scotts,canadians and englishmen argue about who's the best of them all,just to kill the boredom in eve's moneymaking activities.
What's more important though is you'll get a group of motivated people who stick up for eachother and blindly follow someone they trust to hell and back.There have been many cases of 20+ ship fleets forming on the time equivalent of a cigarette break,just to go chase away 10 baddies sitting in the way of a single friendly pilot 25 jumps away.
It's a pity that most of the guys will miss the real treat though...Oh no....secret on the loose coming up....
Whenever we are on an op,the maza guys are running Teamspeak along with ventrillo,so we are all quiet on vent where everyone is,but talk all the time in greek on our TS. Then someone presses the wrong "talk" button and some random shouting occurs in vent,especially when an elusive enemy finally dies (*cough* parity *cough cough*)
Dark Jedi Mode:Maybe,just maybe,you can sometime join our TS and witness the madness for yourself,but that's the point of no return....

NBSI has really shown me how the real players pvp. They're all really great people who i'm thankful even let me fly with them. With the couple of months i've been with them i've learnt a hundred times what I knew before about eve.
I think the key is, they know it's just a game. They remember it's all about the fun, while at the same time taking it seriously enough to win.

we where very close to joining these guys at one point as a corp
we fought along side them a long time ago, tbh its porbably one of the better alliances out there

OK recruiting re-opened , 50 new places to fill however only taking pilots of 1 month in game onwards now to allow you to be on level standing with the guys who are already in.
Been dabbling in PVP or plain bored with mining and NPC shoot em ups convo Rasta Farian , Landi , Mr Chumley or Kholdan ingame or join NBSI Recruiting if you have some questions to ask.

I joined NBSIA a few weeks back, and these are some of the things I've seen, heard and experienced so far.
You'll get to shoot people which aren't blue.
You'll get to shoot people who are blue. Then apologize and blame it on in-experience.
You'll get shot at.

I joined NBSIA a few weeks back, and these are some of the things I've seen, heard and experienced so far.

I think we should ask CCP to add an option when making a char.Something like : Join a NPC noob corp to learn the game etc etc,or join NBSI Academy to learn how to pvp from day 1? fun fun..We should suggest something like that :)

If you r interested in non-noobs aswell..? 7 mill sp (ex?)carebear tired of mission runs n the likes  skills mostly concentrated around ship command (bs, covert, af), missiles, ew. complete pvp n00b, but would like to learn.. inoue homebase atm.

Just wanted to Bump you back to the top. NBSI is one of the coolest alliances I have had the pleasure to fly with. NBSI really has all their stuff together. These guys are very good at killing. It is so good to have them helping us out. If you really want to learn the PVP aspect of the game. Join NBSI. They are great!
