The question I wana raise is not "why did BoB get compensated" but "Why didn't the blood raiders? Bob got: -13 extra stations -agents -standings for corps and for 10ish of their members? -apparently they got ships etc too. -targets - people trying to run misisons in their space -blood inquisition who, if i am not very much mistaken, pay for their right to remain there. Bob lost: -The ability to own certain systems and as such lost bonuses for POS's or something like that Blood raider RPers gained: -Higher quality agents... though few of us did agent missions much... Blood raider RPers Lost: -Our diginity when ccp surrendered in a war for us -Our agents in the region. Those of us who did do missions had no more agents in the bleak lands. -Our RP - we were happy defending the bleak lands and even happier when ccp got involved. However they have not followed up as all. -Our playing sytle. Going from empire to 0.0 is a big move. -Time. We had to move all our stuff over 40 jumps. That is A LOT. Many of us could not even fly haulers. We lsot a few ships on this trip too, so financial loss. I think many people ignore how inconvinient this was for us. Then to find our BoB were compensated and were barely even given notice... erm WTH? Again I am not saying BoB should not have been compensated. I just think us blood raiders were shafted pretty badly discuss
SengH	Posted - 2005.08.08 16:58:00 - [2] I think there are going to be major RP problems when you mix RPing with player politics... ie. atm [5] control 8/9 regions. Thats almost twice the size of the Empires.. its hard to believe the NPC empires wouldnt stand up and take notice. However player politics are complicated enough and trying to mix CCP/Aurora event politics into it given their track record would be a mess sadly.

I spend 10+ months around and supporting the Bloods in the Bleak Lands and the new guys to the Blood area get all the rewards? I don't even want to talk about this **.. I have to live in 0.0 with no market, doing missions in a destroyer (fataly flawed ship) or a T1 frig whilst getting hunted by BoB and their allies and anyone else who happens to turn up eg. FA etc. It's really hard work just getting by. Why would any new player try to be a Blood Raider ever again, it just wouldn't be possible to start out here without a lot of help. Growth in Chaos Life is a mountain, Death is but a dream.

BTW t20 (your incharge of the site? or just forums?): the info on blood raiders on the backstory needs to be updated. _________________________________________________________

We didn't ask for this, we didn't want it, we tried to make the best of it, we've got nothing of any use out of it and we feel we've been as royally shafted as you do to be honest. A big case of Aurora suck. If we could have them moved out of Delve we would, a couple of poxy agents and some messed up standings settings that didn't get implemented right anyway are not in anyway shape of form worth the aggravation.
