I want to set up a system on my website for my corp which allows "restricted" members to submit emails from my webpage directly into my eve account, this one to be more specific.
Since there is a similar system already set up with eve gate, is there a way to another website to do such a thing?
The reason im asking is my corp is an indy corp, and with the alliance I will be starting up soon, I want to be able to have an order form on my website that once submitted, will drop an evemail to me or a mailing list I already have up. Is that something that is locked by the dev's or is there a specific email address that all the eve toons use? And would teh CSPA charge be a major issue? |

It should be a closed system. Which means you cant send or receive mails outside of Evegate. So no.

yeah, I believe that its not a traditional mail system with pop and smtp servers listening to public ports.
better option may be internal forum PMs that send off an SMS alert to your cellphone so you know to check your PMs or email when someone posts you a message.
also then you could still do everything ingame via the browser

Probably to avoid abuse, they would make it a "paid" api feature where emails cost isk or something. |
