For a group who constantly brags about "fighting against the odds", they seem awfully reluctant to ever do so and weirdly happy that they have less people to fight with now. Fights are ultimately irrelevant in grand scheme of things since nobody in FW will ever run out of cash or ships unless they for some reason suicide 1b pods daily. We noticed the 13h plexing coverage was not feasible in the end so there is little reason to burn out the membership with needless plexing. Mitanni article somehow portrays Larkness somehow stopping the offensive with 3 victories on 26th. I am not aware what he did on later date when most of RONIN is inactive but I quite clearly recall that around downtime he led a fleet of cruisers against RONIN and while outnumbering RONIN 2:1 with same number of logi on field, his fleet which has massive amount of faction cruisers, ended up butchered on a 15 minute running battle despite gallentes having ability to reship in system. Caldari losses amounted to two cruisers and hawk while Larkness lost 15 cruisers. But since author of the article and TheMittani are biased (since Goons have alts in frog militia), he portrays 26th as some "defining moment" despite it being another in the long line of cruiser slugs in Nennamaila. I do love the continued "Damar is crazy and everyone who flies with him is irrelevant" postings you guys keep doing on forums. Then you send panicked corp mails like that.

Lets say we totally dominate all the fights and achieve 8h "space superiority" daily. All it means that once RONIN logs, you have 16h to uncontest the system. This happened once with PERVS when we went for plexing then-minmatar stronghold-of Auga. They made a forum thread and refused to undock. System was still not taken because downtime supeority meant nothing back in the initial Caldari rush and it didnt mean anything in Auga either as you well know. So Minmatar stayed docked in Auga and Sasawong and his alts went on "shift the plexes" job when the evil Finns were sleeping. And why is this, wonders the spoon-fed reader whose listened to gallente propaganda about "downtime plexing" for years. My dear reader, you can plex in uncontested systems to shift plexes around to contested system and defend outside your enemies "prime time". X gal and Chatgris know this and did a lot of it but of course they refuse to admit such thing because it would ruin their "Only because of downtime" argument for Caldari taking all systems.
