leaving highsec to go deep into nullsec to try to pick up an item ..... what is best fit for a cheetah?
so far ive got
covert ops cloaking device
cap recharger cap recharger small cap battery
nanofiber internal nanofiber internal inertia stab
small low friction nozzle small polycarbon engine
going in jump clone with no implants - if i die, so be it.
just looking for fit that gives me best chance of getting in, picking up item, and getting back to highsec |

Puzzled by all the cap mod, but it should work fine. Pretty hard to get caught in a Cheetah, even for me. |

Burning out of a Bubble/Crashing back into a gate if you encounter a Camp.
I'd say the most important things are the T2 Covert Cloak, A 1MN MWD, and Nano's.
The cap Modules you really don't need. The Stab.... I'm not sure that will help, The only thing that can catch youis a Bubble, and then a Stab will do nothing. |

1.) You jump through a gate only to find about 20 people on the other side locked-n-loaded. You overheat your MWD while running back to the gate and jump through
2.) You jump through to find that the gate has been bubbled which prevents you from warping away. You activate your MWD and quickly leave the bubble and warp out.
Also... Where did you buy those items deep into null-sec. If it's a player owned station/outpost, first make sure you can actually dock in that station/outpost because most things in null-sec are limited in their docking rights. |

You dont need to fill all of the spaces plus its useless filling it up because you will get 1 shotted regardless.
[Cheetah] Highs Probe launcher Covert Ops Cloak II
Med Microwarp Drive EMPTY EMPTY Lows Nanofibers II Nanofibers II
Low friction nozzels x2
Basically you want to be able to align / warp as fast as possible. You may not have enough CPU to run all three at once, so id advise offlining the probe launcher when travelling and offlining the MWD when scanning.
Lastly if you need to haul a few modules, strapp some Cargo Expander II's on. should get around 250m3 to play with.
If you hit a bubble check for debris before moving, then head out of the bubble avoiding anything to close, you can stay in cloak if your not within 2km of anything, just be patient.
Dont forget the MWD trick when leaving a gate,
Align,Pulse the MWD, then hit cloak it will give you a 1/4 cycle and get you upto speed to instawarp. Makes you pretty unlockable. |

That's good advise mate, but it's probably worth clarifying that the 'MWD Trick' is used to refer to ships which cant use the covops cloak and the MWD is used to counter the 75% speed penalty of the 'Improved Cloak'.
The Covops Frigs dont have the speed penalty and will go straight to warp with the cloak on.
Also, it's worth putting an EM resist like the passive EM Ward Field if you have a spare mid slot to protect against smart bombers. But this mainly applies to Low sec, not null. Innominate Nightmare, :"Your Mother is an exotic dancer, and your Sister works in a Quafe factory!GÇ¥ |

If you are using the cloak/MWD trick with a covops cloak...you fail.
That trick is for NORMAL cloaks...the covops cloak doesnt need any tricks cause of the no speed penalty and warp while cloaked stats. |
