Has or is anybody using a RattleSnake to NPC/Mission W****.
I am getting a Faction ship and it is between Vindicator and RattleSnake. Different feel to both ships but both have real character.
4 x 425 II's 4 x Cruiser Launchers
Tank
4/5 PDU's Magnetic Stab's dont know how many PDU's needed to fit Hight slots. Not a PVP setup obviously.

doubt it has the grid for this, and i would fit 6 launchers on a rattlesnake, the hybrid bonus is worthless. ------

With good skills and Battle ship V those hybrids have an optimal of 60km with anti matter and given Cruise Missles problems with cruiser and frigs the 425's might help.
Although without the Mega's tracking and damage bonus those 425's would be pretty sucky

425 to help with frigs? no wonder its easy to kill solo BS if people think the largest, worst tracking guns in the game are going to save them versus frigs
Id stick with the 6 launcher 2 hvy nos approach and use the extra low slot for a dmg mod

a cruise launcher will do more damage with the ROF bonus than those 425mm will ever do without a damage bonus, cruise missile has more range too. ------

thing is: Rattlesnake can fit 6x officer/dread launchers(88+ cpu without wpn upgrades) and 5 dmg mods. Then you stick 2x t2 large extenders, 3x hardeners and good inv. field. The remaining hi slots are best with nosfs for npcing.
Lows: 1x dread cpu, 5x dmg mods. 16k shield, 70% overall resists and ~ 6s rof...
Railgun bonus is crap.

2x heavy nosf won't fit... probably. Need some pdus.
But don't forget that faction or officer sieges use less than 1500pg with some skills.

The 2nd best BS ( Mach is #1 imho ) in the game demands a XL II SB and a full rack of Launchers! NOS if you can but its definately teh sex even with a gimp bonus for hybrids!

If you have the skills could your try equipping a full passive tank even if you donÆt plan to use it. If my math is right that ship can hit almost 200hp/s as a passive tank and no cap drain.
