Okay, we've had top 5 lists, we've had who is the notorious/famous/sexy/evil etc etc. So given a mixture of fame and capability, reputation and ability (perceived or otherwise) which of the all time great Eve pilots would you most like to have a serious down and dirty 1v1 combat duel with in a lonely 0.0 system and fraps-recorded for posterity.
(these pilots don't have to be currently active, they can even be people who have since jumped in the bio waste bin)
Please give the single pilot you'd most like to fight, a little bit about them, and definately include the why of it.

Because, in my opinion, TWD knows more than anyone how to push ships to the absolute limit.
I don't mean those forumla set-ups which people end up using ... nothing so obvious.
His magical touch is to ignore what 'should' be done and consider what 'could' be done.
Why would I want to 1 vs 1 him?
Quite simply, because if you are going to die, make it a learning experience.

I would not want to duel anyone in game. I am a carebear. I though would like one last time to Forum Duel "Jade Constantine". Did I say I would win? Would anyone actually read it? It would be fun to see Jade once again.

With my connection I'd lose any duel. If we agree on no podding though, probably Viceroy, his sense of humour would I hope take the sting out of the pwning I would suffer.

I'm actually torn between you Jim or TankCEO, would love to put my Megathron against those big bad Ravens and see what happens My reasons being its nice to fight against the best and see how well you can do.
But for a celebrity smack down I'd have loved to duel Ragnar back in the TTI days. All that forum politics aside it would have been such fun blowing his apocalypse to pieces

I'd have to say, better than asking which character you'd like to duel. Would it be nice IF.
They actually created an instanced duel mode that was protected from interferance from other players where both parties could accept the duel challenge and it halts all further damage at 20% hull.
the dueling ships would be instance protected till warpout. No interferance from outside parties till warp out from duel location.
ponder ideas of duel challenge mode sounds more fun to me than dreaming of who to duel.
I dunno, think it'd be a nice "option" for fun factor.
Immagine if they had dueling mode with a couple options.
Carebear duel mode. 20% hull damage and it's froze, bragging rights basically.
you think you're bad duel mode, to the pod, protect the pod.
Put your money where your mouth is duel mode, to the pod but both parties get to wager an ISK amount of choice ontop of their ship loss.
Or even adding the wager option as an option to all duels.
Or dueling for pink slips. Carebear duel but they get put into pod at the 20% hull loss and their ship ends up in your nearest hanger. pink slip dueling ftw
I dunno, just think and have though long time that dueling options would be a great thing for eve.

The top of my list would have to be the people I tried to kill in the first month of the game but only ran and docked, and soon after quit EvE.
Barring that, I would have to say Lord Zap. Reasons are too many, but they have to do with being trapped in pf-346 for 2 days

I would definitely say Leeloo from beta, that **** must have killed me 10 times and I never did actually get to kill him One time I managed to get through his armour but he still popped me, was a fun learning experience though
Stupid thing is, he would still probably beat me now without any skill points

This is an easy one!!
I had a wicked 1 vs 1 fight up north between me and slothe.
Me = old setup Raven
Slothe = Suckadom
I want a rematch because that was some of the most fun I had in eve that evening. Trying to take out a Dominix's dronebay before Slothe could finish me off was great fun and I kinda think my current setup could actually do it too ;)
Last time I got him down to 12/13 drones before I went pop, hehe.

Yeah, I my name was in there. Glad to hear I'm not considered all that evil. :)
Personally, all I try to do on the forums is post constructively, and seek to educate those who start new threads with entirely knee-jerk reactions. I'm totally open to someone who thinks negatively about something or goes against the grain of popular opinion, but if they do so in a logical non-flamebait manner. And I love a good debate. :) I'd hope if the [23] were thought of as a negative influence on the forums and the game that name wouldn't be included in the ranks.
Anyway, sorry that's a bit offtopic, but I just wanted to get that out there. :P

Would have been nice to actualy fight with her, rather than have her sit there and just scream kill me on more than a few occasions.
Tbh eve's never realy done it for me on the 1v1 duel thing anyway.. im oldschool quake, where the battle of wits is realy at... a true battle of skill, timing, and where the extrovert truely wins.

GLFTorque for no other reason than he was a guy who kicked me out of 0.0 about 2 years ago when I had a pathetic excuse for a ship and he was in a megathron.
TankCEO picked a fight on me when I had a dodgy Raven set up and took far too much glory in local for killing me.
Never let it be said I hold a grudge just would like to fight them in a friendly grudge match.
Other than them I will be happy fighting anyone 1v1.

Here's a peculiar thought. I'd like to fight myself. Theoretically, I know what I would do in the x, z, y situation, versus the a, b, c ship/player, but I really, really am curious how I would fare against my identical twin.
As for a less day-dreaming approach, I pretty much fought who I most wanted to.

You reported in another post made around the same time that just one of our battleships was destroyed by the sentries--now its two? Was it one, two, seven or 15?
Just a reminder my friend, battleships do have the ability to tank empire sentries.
