Who else would like to see some drones added to loot containers. Flying from can to can at 137 m/s to get all my loot just sucks.

I presume you mean 'loot the containers', as they're already in the 'loot containers'
I wish I had a million isk for everytime someone new had this idea.

I generally assume the following:
1. 95% of Empire Carebears don't get 0.0 PVPers.
2. 95% of 0.0 PVPers don't get Empire Carebears.
3. 100% of Ore Thieves steal just to upset the Miners. |

Still a good idea, every time it is mentioned. I think someone mentioned it to me in beta, and then within the few weeks after release.
Note that is is listed in the "On the Drawingboard" section of the web site.
Also, the drones should be small, to allow noobs and non-drone-focussed races to use them without massively impacting their ability to still have a few drones for combat.

Drone Idea For Carriers:
You could make it possible to install a drone control module in the lo slot of a normal ship (say, up to cruiser) so that these ships can be controlled as drones by the pilot of a carrier. Obviously, in order to keep the game fair, the skills required for this would need to be extensive and expensive (maybe drone operation 5, advanced drone operation..) and the modules themselves should be expensive (and possibly constructed from illegal components or illegal themselves). could maybe make them from human tissue (reprocessed frozen corpses?). if this were the case, the skill of the person the tissue belonged to could be significant to the operation of the drone. maybe the drone modules would need to be individually trained after construction, like researching a blueprint?

I was thinking more like double sized mining drones, since they would need the cargo space to loot larger items such a seige launcher. Make them use basic skills and just have the down side be thier size.
