A patch to fix some of the current and Known Issues is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, 23 August. Patch Notes should be available on Friday, 19 August.
There is a slight chance that the patch will be deployed on Tuesday, 16 August, with patch notes available on the 12th, but this will be a very pleasant surprise if it takes place (QA gives the patch a thumbs-up.)
This patch will consist of bug fixes and issue resolutions. No new content will be introduced.

YAY! A PURE BUGFIX PATCH!
Did ya fix the "NPC missiles ignore active armor hardeners" glitch?

Just a reminder, I'm sure you know this already, but you've patched 3548 -> 3550 as an optional patch (it's still available), then reversed the server (due to crashes) to 3548.
My logon screen says: Client version: 2.06.3550 Tranquility: OK, 9,768 players, version 2.06.3548
Please, make sure you have a file for 3550 -> whatever, when you release this new patch, as I cannot take my client back to 3548, or whatever the last non-optional version is that everyone might have.

Hopefully this includes a fix to the near worthless 130km+ defenders that travel at 10km/s that do nothing to any heavy (or smaller) missile within 40km.

Please check the test patches page.
There's no way to upgrade from the current TQ release that I'm running (3548) to the latest test version (3553).
When you fix that, bring the patch in.
Note: there'd better be some IGB fixes too as it has more known issues than known features.. -----

Thank you for listening to us and responded with this patch.
I do expect another partial patch to clean up any remaining headaches before SHIVA though.

Please grant an increase to torp damage to cruisers. I'm not requesting full damage, nor am I requesting an increase in damage to frigates. The role of battleships is to kill cruisers and other battleships, but unfortunately torpedos lag behind in this area.
Long-range weapons such as 1400's, tachyons, and 425's can easily kill cruisers at 50km. Short-range weapons such as autocannons and blasters (and, in some instances, megapulses), can easily kill cruisers at knife-range when combined with a web.
Torpedos, a close-range weapon due to low velocity, are unable to destroy a properly-tanked cruiser (tech 1 or HAC) at any range, close or otherwise. Turrets have webs and target painters to help them kill smaller ships, but neither the web nor target painter has much effect on torpedo damage vs. cruisers. -Wrayeth |

What about the overview bug which makes some hostiles display as friendly and vica versa which makes it so some people cannot participate in PvP atall (me)? Namely this one: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=197865
My accounts will remain cancelled unless this is fixed as there's little point playing if you can't participate in PvP.

Run them both in windowed mode, at desktop resolution, this works for me.
And tbh, unless there is alot missing from the patch notes, this patch does not fix enough bugs.

Erm, they have not updated the patch notes yet, the patch notes page still has the notes for the last patch. As Keiron said, you'll need to wait till the 19th (or 12th if we're lucky) before they get updated! |

I suggest not to do that on a weekend with 13k ppl waiting to log in after downtime and then only to find that the patch accidently decreased everyone into a noob ship or something. I¦m sure that everyone can understand if you wait until monday IF you deploy it so IF a problem needs to get fixed. Just a friendly reminder. Ö WTB True Sansha stuff. |

Why don't you just change the inbox to only show 1 inbox?
Save the evemails client side and viola no problems with the evemails anymore!! (Save them as individual files in a directory in the eve folder, or in the windows user dir).
Just let people decide what to do with their incoming mails, i'm tired of having a slow and very annoying mail client within eve.

The patch candidate didn't make it out to the BH team in time for testing, so we will not be publishing the patch on the 16th. We are on target for a patch on the 23rd, unless QA gives it the thumbs down. Patch notes will be available on the 19th, unless the patch deployment date is delayed.

I have 3 accounts and usually my computer runs pretty slow with 3 up at one time. So I use just 2 at one time mostly. What I do is ALT+ENTER to go into windowed mode and then just click on which one I want to use and switch that way. I never use ALT+TAB because I found that it does crash the accounts

Kieron can you please please make a note to the DEV TEAM to consider changing the "Overview" to make "Criminaly Flagged" and "-5.0 Security" 2 diffrent flags. So we can set the colors to 2 diffrent options. So we don't get confused? Unless this is not something the DEV team wants us to know?

Kieron is on US time, so the 19th hasn't even really begun for him
There will probably be news later today, either about patch notes, or, if QA haven't given their thumbs up yet, about a new schedule. Please be patient

Edited by: Hyperforce99 on 20/08/2005 07:21:33 I've read no information about the shield launch when your changing ships inside a pos shield that has a password set to it. This is the biggest pos bug of all IMHO.
in short if your tryting to change a ship inside a shield-password protected pos you get lauched out because your password isn't linked to your character but to your ship making it very hard to fit, pick a new ship or even auto store new ships cause if you switch ships the old ship is no longer stored in the maint array but just stay's next to it.
