I have to say, this really does suck. We have so outplayed Australia in this game and yet coz of the rain it looks like its gonna be a draw
Mind you, we have 1 hour left and we only need 1 wicket to change the tempo of the game,.... fingers crossed!

In light of the last two test matches ive decided to hang up my pundit boots....
Edgebaston was a dead cert draw....
Old trafford was an aussie win, old trafford+spin=warne as happy as a dog with 2 c*cks.....
I give up cricket blows.....

to be fair to Australia Pontings innings was superb, big question was asked of him and he answered it, that batting performance deserved a draw tbh, and im english, and im sure with old traffords reputation for spin a lot here wouldve taken the draw before the match.

True, Ponting produced probably the best innings so far this summer, all credit. But 1 wicket remaining to salvage a draw (following an 80% lost day) is the skin of your teeth. Just ironic it's happened at Old Trafford when we're on top for once.
And to go back to my prediction, which was 3-2 Australia, with the Aussies winning at Lords, Old Trafford and Trent Bridge. England's best chances at Edgbaston and The Oval. It is nearly September though - good chance this series may finish, through bad light/rain, 1-1...
