Hello,
My first mission into something below .5 was fine, slipped in slipped out with no problems. 2nd time I got warp disrupted at gate and blown up. Not much fireworks or gallantry or anything, just boom and the email from insurance. Actually the email was first so I knew I was blown up before my hud even told me.
Is there a way to not get warp disrupted?
As an aside, I am trying to do the Epic Arc missions and somehow have got off course I think. I believe I am just doing random SOE missions now. Is there a way to see where my next step is?
Thanks for all the help. :D |

There are a number of ways to blow through a gatecamp.
- use an agile frigate with nanofibers in the low slots... refit at a low sec station before going to your mission. The idea here is to align so fast that almost no one will be able to target lock you.
- use a specialty cloaking ship (covert-ops, stealth bomber, force recon, blockade runner). As soon as you hear the computer say "warp drive active" hit your cloak and laugh (note: in null sec space the gatecamp usually gets the last laugh).
- use the "cloak-MWD" trick (google it).
- warp core stabs can get you through most low sec gatecamps... just refit your ship in a low sec station when you arrive at your mission area. Be aware though that Heavy Interdictors and "bubbles" in null sec space can warp disrupt you regardless of how many warp core stabs you fit. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but cant hictors use the infinipoint script in lowsec? Ishtar Starfire: As a pure caldari pilot i feel that with the deployment of the new tier 3 battlecruisers you have given an unfair advantage to everyone except caldari pilots. an example would be like giving a fat kid a whole cake while the skinny kid has to watch and get nothing.

Actually, Infinipoint is allowed highsec too |

Open your journal, click the epic journal tab and you can see what mission you are on.
EDIT: The lowsec region around arnon is a bad place for a new player to be, lots of gatecamps with really fast locking t3s. People want to farm newbie KMs for some odd reason. |

Just for fun.
Just yesterday i got pod killed in high sec (0.5) flying an empty shuttle. The guys then got killed themselves by sentry guns but i presume were in cheap ships and jump clones trying to rack up some sort of PVP kill score. |

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but cant hictors use the infinipoint script in lowsec? That's exactly what I was saying. HIC bubbles can be scripted into a focused "long point" and be used anywhere in the game... and they will ignore any warp core stabs fitted.
I just added the extra "bubble" info just in case. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |
