another option: your "nobody" and "all" words mean just some group of Eve Online players? If this is right then give any reason why you automatically prefer another (let call it "second") group of players (who will not use this feature) to this group (let call it "first")?
I can guess this is because you are from second group who based on killing players from first one. And if they will evade your aggro you will need to fight players from seconds group which will make big risk |

one note: people who enjoy Pvp in current style won't leave to arena (why will they?). So only people who will leave are those who don't like PvP in current state. It means they possibly don't engage in PvP already (so called carebears).
So again: there will be no loss of active PvPers. There will be only some increasing of PvP in arena from those who don't like (and possibly don't do) PvP in game already.
Yes. You can lose some targets. Who are they? There are people who want to do PvP but they are constantly getting roflstomped/griefed/camped/etc and at the result they are getting tired of PvP. And yes, when arena is present they will leave in-game PvP and went to "honourable" PvP on arena. There is few notes here:
- not sure there is considerable amount of these players
- these players will leave PvP at some point anyway. If there will be no Arena they will just leave the game or become "carebears". |

However i can say: i would join Arena because i like to PvP but have no interest to meet bottom feeders. |

not really. pods are almost invulnerable if piloted right.
autopiloting freighters or afk mining miners are for bottom feeders.
alliance tech- fountains and reshipping programs is for bottom feeders.
