With immediate effect, Millennium Corporation resigns from the Foundation alliance and announces a cessation of hostilities with the Veritas Immortalis alliance for the purpose of a peaceful withdrawal from the Great Wildlands region.
At this point I'd like to take the opportunity to thank the various member corps of the Foundation, Kieretsu and V alliances, both past and present, for being such large parts of the most successful, lucrative and one of the most entertaining periods of time in Millenniums' history.
We joined Foundation at the request of our close friends, Alcatraz Inc., to bolster the Euro timezone numbers as the Keiretsu war was escalating. This we did with relish. 6 months on, we're stronger, bigger and richer than we've ever been. We've made many new friends and had the pleasure of shooting some wonderful new enemies. The angel loot's been quite nice as well 
But now we feel that our time in GW has run it's course. We've played our part well down here and it's time to move on.
The ceasefire with V, agreed with Light Darkness will commence at DT today (Friday 12th August) and last for 7 days.

yeah in the short time i have been back in millenium i have liked fighting u guys although i usually came out worse it was all good fun.
only bad experiance i had was with 5 when they didnt believe i got bugged which enabled em to catch up with me. didnt complain about losing my ship just the fact eve wouldnt let me warp sooner than did but 5 slagged for saying i was a lier ah well.
will hope i meet u in battle in the future possibly or even as friends

Id also like to thank all those involved, Millennium, Kieretsu, Foundation, ASS, -V- and 5. I joined Millennium at the end of the Foundation, Kieretsu war. It was my first proper move to 0.0 in a pvp form, i have had many fun times learning the ways of the wise ones and becoming a better pilot and fighter from it. If it wasnt for so many hostiles i wouldnt have had the chance to hone my skills ... so thanks for helping and giving me a good fight

Although I haven't been with MLM for that long (coming up on 4 months now) It's been a blast fighting in GW. My first 0.0 experience, and it is one to remember! Fighting -V- has been a blast, and there are some great guys in -V-. Will miss you guys!

Funiest time was when you guys had us trapped in m-m station and he decided we all should undock in shuttles at the same time to "escape". This offcourse resulted in a mass clone jump to N-DQ. HAHAHAHA so funny!

Foundation's been the best alliance we've been a part of since UNICOR. We've had a lot of fun, shot a lot of folk, made a lot of isk, recruited some damn fine new players.
It was unquestionably the right move at the time, and it's done us the world of good.
Don't see how any of that's unlucky, tbh...

It was indeed a very fun experience flying with Millennium pilots in the Great Wildlands. The movies following fleet battles and wolf packs were awesome.

Looking at our kill statistics ( see my sig below)
on a very rough, slightly drunk look at our kills i worked out wed been involved in the kills of at least the following (since12.2.05-13.8.05) -
Haulers - 25
Pods - 135
Frigates - 145
Interceptors - 115
Assault frigates - 67
Destroyers - 32
Cruisers - 65
HACS - 24
Battlecruisers - 27
Battleships - 195
Covert - 10
Which is not bad considering were not the biggest corp in game.
The corp has developed tremendously from our experience in great wildlands for sure. We are now all much more able PvPers than we were. We have fought some of the best PvPers in game, sometimes lost, sometimes won. We know one thing, that we are stronger for the experience.
It should be borne in mind that we went to Great Wildlands after the Curse Alliance collapsed to help Foundation against Keiretsu who were both fighting for the area. We helped Foundation who eventually took control of the area, for a brief time. Unfortunately Curse Alliance, for all intents, reformed into the 5 and moved back in. Great Wildlands, being one of the important tactical routes into Curse, needed securing, and so 5 offered the region to V and offered their assistance to them.
Had it just been Foundation v -V- i, personally think foundation would have won, as at one point of the conflict -v- retired to Empire.
However, in any major operation 5 would be called in to reinforce -v- and simply outblob foundation. Foundation had, and still do have, major difficulties fighting -v- and can only really be effective, in my view, in a guerilla campaign of disruption.
I liked fighting -v- - who were always very pleasant, and usually like fighting 5 and im sure there will be more in the future.

I dont want to leave your comment without a short notice:
- V did a hell of a job with constant pressure on Foundation
- We didnt cry to .5. to support us, they just did because they liked to fight Foundation and you liked to fight them.
- There were exactly 2 bigger fleet battles where .5. pilots were involved and only these 2 times we asked .5. to help out with numbers, since Foundation got support from others like UK and single corps in these battles.
- So nearly all battles were fought by V-members only.
.5. had gangs running in GW too, no doubt, but the main pressure, also no doubt, came from V. I dont like it if ppl try to make us look like .5. puppets, who only won with their help. Help was there, true, but not in the ammount like you want to tell the community here. We are able to fight our own wars, if we dont get the numbers to counter an enemy fleet, sure, we call friends like everyone else would do too.
But tbh, when Foundation brought a gang V couldnt counter? I can tell ya: 1 time in M-M with the help of UK and some others.
I will not argue in this thread. Everyone has his own point of view and i respect that. And those brave pvp corps of Foundation, who fought for their land, like Millenium and Alcatraz just suffered under ppl in their alliance who just didnt care. Sad but true. So even more respect for those corps for trying their best. But 2 or 3 corps vs 1 alliance is hard, if you know what i mean
