I am not assuming anything. By your actions you have already demonstrated that you are willing to break and bend the rules for personal gain if you think you can escape the consequences. It's up to you to convince voters who share similar concerns why you would act differently when in a position of CSM.
Oversight and the threat of CCP's security team is just a very strong deterrent. In other words what would you do when you are in a position where you think you can get away with it again? Why would you choose to act differently in that case because you are serving as a community representative?
I think it's clear you have not thought yet about either of those two questions so yes i will be taking my votes elsewhere. Thank you for your time. |

It's only up to me to convince a voter of anything if they're open to the possibility of being convinced.
From your entrance into the thread, you very plainly weren't.

I'll leave the biscuits to someone else. I'm too lazy to work out quite the way Roc does and so take other measures, such as avoiding large quantities of carbs.
For all that effort, though, he's still a scrawny nerd. Mynnna for CSM 8 |

Mynnna, I have a question: If you could return any one ship to it's former glory of awesomeness, which one would it be? Not a nerf, just a return a ship stats or abilities to what it could do, even upon game launch. |

I'm slightly disappointed that your answer isn't ginger snaps, but hey, low carb diets are pretty awesome so I'll let it slide.

Well, it's a purely subjective question, so I'll give a purely objective answer. I miss my speed-era nano Sacrilege. :(
Hard question to answer objectively though, since in most (all?) cases the "former glory of awesomeness" was also pretty damn broken.

Well if "biscuit" is some sort of weird British term for "Cookie" that changes things. Ginger snaps are good, as are oatmeal raisin cookies and macademia nut cookies and frankly, quite a lot of other cookies.
But only in moderation. Mynnna for CSM 8 |

On the "doesn't need help" note, that's only true when it comes to actually getting onto the council. But, if you think I'm worth one of the two guaranteed spots to Iceland, put me somewhere on your ballot. Those two slots play by different rules, and so an appearance anywhere on a ballot is valuable. Mynnna for CSM 8 |

Just look at CSM7, if people were serious about the CSM they would have driven everyone insane.
As apparently the job of the CSM is to be always useful to CCP. Vote Now! My recommendations are:-á 1.James Arget 2.Ayeson 3.Nathan Jameson 4.Cipreh 5.Chitsa Jason 6. Malcanis 7. Mike Azariah 8. Do you feel the CSM needs to be seen as the voice of the players?
Also do you see the need for the CSM to distance its self from the corporate body of CCP, eg. to be seen as a separate entity? Vote Now! Before the polls close
How do you feel about the new STV voting system?
Do you understand it?
How do you feel about fact we can only identify 2 members of CSM7 who supported it?
Do you want it removed for a better or simpler system, while voting numbers are so low? Vote Now! My recommendations are:-á 1.James Arget 2.Ayeson 3.Nathan Jameson 4.Cipreh 5.Chitsa Jason 6. Malcanis 7. Mike Azariah 8. Ripard Teg 9. Mangala Solaris 10. Ali Aras 11. Roc Wieler And remember not voting is the same as voting for Null. |

-It's fine.
-I sure hope so since I wrote the definitive post explaining it.
-As far as I'm concerned only identifying two members who publicly state they've supported it just means those two members a) have opted to comment in public and b) have chosen (rightly so) not to speak for those who choose to ignore your lunatic ravings.
-Given that voting numbers have not been published it's awfully laughable that you're calling them "so low" right now, but no, the system is fine. Mynnna for CSM 8 |

I have noticed that you call anyone who criticizes the CSM a "lunatic"
Do you really feel that would be a good stance for a chairman as it is their job to communicate with the playerbase, frequently? Vote Now! There are valid criticisms to be had for this CSM. For example, I've said myself in the past that their level of communication was somewhat lacking.
However, people like you and Poetic Stanziel and so on mix those valid criticisms in with a bunch of what I find to be bat**** crazy garbage based on unsubstantiated rumors or flat out assumption that are often colored heavily by personal bias and occasionally even run completely in the face of verifiable fact, such as here. e: And exaggeration or twisting of words is also common. Apparently I call "anyone" who criticizes the CSM a lunatic. This is news to me!
So yes, I do think that calling something what it is is a good stance. Mynnna for CSM 8 |

A "factual" (a word I hesitate to use when it comes to political science, thus the quotes) answer to that is beyond me. My familiarity with the system stops at being able to explain the mechanics of the election itself.
Howeve, the system is meant to reflect the wishes of the voting populace, whether that's less than twenty percent of the entire population (as in Eve) or all of it as in real countries where voting is compulsory. In other words, my opinion, based on my familiarity with the mechanics of the system is that the turnout is fairly well irrelevant to how well the system actually works. Mynnna for CSM 8 |
