I am looking at changing my service provider to BT.
They only give you 15GB a month for the level that i am looking at.
If i play say 200 hours a month  (Please dont tell anyone  )
will the 15GB be enough or will i go over that limit.
How do i find out how much EVE will use each hour?
Any help would be greatfully recived.

think 1 hour of playing tops at 1 or 2 mbytes transfered afaik...

Unless you start downloading hardcore swedish **** you'll be well under the limit.

I'm in belgium and got a monthly limit of 10gb (which sucks) and basicaly, if you don't download 1gb files on a regular basis and you aren't a fulltime downloader (as in, download every movie file you see), you should be ok.
Considering eve was originaly intended to be playable on 56k modems, the trafic between you and the server is realy light.
I get more trafic from playing the bf2 demo 1 hour than I get from playing eve for a week.
btw, if you have a choice between a unlimited and a limited (15gb/month) provider, realy consider the unlimited one, there's nothing as limiting to the internet experience as 56k modem speeds and download limits.

we have a 20gb limit with ntl, and there 4 of us sharing the connection (networked via a broadband router), with my other flatmates downloading "stuff" etc, me playing on Eve, we haven't hit the limit yet, I will make it my goal to try tho

don't u aaaall wish u lived in Canada, i've got a 4MB connection, no bandwidth cap, and it just short of $20 a month (Canadian)
i've heard horror stories about so called highspeed ISP's in the states .. 1MB is considered fast for the average person in the states .. here 4MB is ok, u can get over 10MB probly more

I AM on AOL atm and i get only about a 400k download speed atm.
It should be 1mb, thats why i am changing.
Pluss i hate AOL anyway |

ya we have soooo many shiny round coasters in our house its kinda funny, and AOL is nice enough to keep on providing them ..
so i looooooooooooooove AOL ....... coasters

Japan has 1Gb max connection... emagine how much 4mb costs there!
I have 2Mb, 40GB bandwidth, quite a lot more expansive than $20 for sure, but still, acceteble for what i get

hmmm mc12 ,,ive got a friend who uses bt as an isp ,,its proberly the most used isp in the uk,
he has alot of trouble logging in around peak times ,ie 4pm to 8pm when the school surfers are on !!he gets slow speeds most of the time aswell.
try one of these 2 ,i use eclipse been with them for 2 years and have never let me down , also try pipex ive read some good reviews on them .

I'm on 20GB and i'm on the internet constantly, playing Eve most of that time and also downloading many, many things. Never hit cap yet.

The more commun ISPs here in Portugal have like 2GB of international bandwidth limit, now THAT IS limiting.

I'm with eclipse. Great service, if a little bit overpriced (well, we're paying about ú18 a month for 256k but it's about the same speed as my old BT 512k line)

I was on 30gb/month.
Two months ago I got a letter in the post:
'Dear Mr. X,
Your current package has a monthly bandwidth limit of 30GB. Over the last three months, your average useage has been 54 GB. Please lower your useage or we will be forced to terminate your account.'
Or something to that effect. I do have a habit of leaving bittorrent and my PC on 24/7 though. So, just swapped to an unlimited ISP.
But a tip - go for UK Online (http://www.ukonline.net/broadband/). I've only had good experiences with them, they have no monthly limits and they provide faster connections than BT.
