I've been playing rougly since beta on and off. I think i remember hearing back then that the regions in the Title would be opened sometime with the release of Jump Drives, the idea ba ck then i believe was the jumpdrive was a module that you could use to jump to a system without a gate. So you could enter jove space and the numbered regions space by just using your jumpdrive....this cant happen though because you need someone on the side you are jumping too. As all of 0.0 is claimed at the moment by allliances I'm wondering when the event for opening these regions will take place? I would love to see more space open in Kali as apart of it. Also giving these regions a name would be nice too (Much easier to remember a name like Curse than LQ-0QN) These regions have NO stations atm so this would be a PERFECT space for Outposts to be in. Can CCP give me an idea on whats gona happen with thsi space?

Another reason to do away with the present "you have to already be there" to jump there concept.

What would be interesting is if they made it a 1 way trip.... So everyone who wants to go piles into a titan/carrier and then jumps over into the unknown......

Remember Dreads are using the "commercial" version of the Jumpdrive, the full sized thing (only available to the five empires) can make jumps without the cynosural field and it has increased ranges. According to the fiction at least.
Right now I don't think we need that space. Too many people are still hugging empire, for a few obvious reasons. The main one has a lot to do with travel. It was my hope that first they'd remove instas to get the current regions properly settled in. A good sized megacorp with two dozen or more members logged in per day can "control" a region, simply because of mobility. Your sphere of influence with even a few people is quite large because travel is so easy. Its pretty normal to do a hundred jumps or more in a day just to get a few kills.
The same thing allows others to access your space because you can't effectively blockade gates away from smaller ships. The end result is you need a lot less teamwork to do anything you want in 0.0. I'm not advocating blob warfare, but look how all the major alliances with thousands of members dwindled down to a dozen or more mediocre alliances of a few corporations. And they're all pretty much identical.
When battleship travel gets slower, living within 20 jumps of a hostile force isnt such a big deal. More people can move to 0.0, stake a claim, and hold onto it.

I think removing instas would want people to stay in empire tbh. Most of their fears are around being ganked by a pirate at a chokepoint. I dont know why they cant understand that that is extreemly false. Many chokepoints are only camped by alliances. I think the only chokepoint i can think of is EC-P8R, P3EN, and maybee PF-346 that get camped. Removing instas would alow them to be ganked much more easily because they would spend more time in travel = more likely to get ganked.

maybe there is access allready... maybe theres hidden gates to those regions...
would take one hell of a lot of probes to find them...
thats allways been my theory atleast

Hence, donē go into 0.0 alone. That's the mistake that most make - thinking you can go in alone and own stuff.

Ive heard this rumor alot that a Dev/GM said that there was a hidden gate to jove systems in one of the named 0.0 systems... whichever it is is anyones guess.

Problem is you dont have the jump gate co ordinates to the jove systems lol - anohter scammer he he
Its just a rumour but if anyone does want to get out with scanner probes and explore for it feel quite free to do so you will find lots of other hidden treasures along the way
Now where can i buy scan probe BPOs
