Hiho Everyone.
First, sorry for my english, is not my main language.
So, my problem is, i really dont know what Ship i should take for a C2 WH. (never was in a WH before)
Everyone says diffrent things.
Some said Hurricane is enough with Armor Buffer.
Other said i need a Ship with 80% Omni res. and at least 90'000EHP
and so on and so on....
So, what would u say? is hurricane with Armor Buffer enough and crappy DpS, or should i skill Sleipnir?
Or is a Typhoon Fleet ok? (i like the big Ships... )
Hope somone can Help me here

You won't be facing anything bigger than cruisers, so a BS will be worse for you to use. I used to ninja C2 in a PVP fit drake with probably round 70% resists and a 60-70k shield buffer and have no problems. I doubt any BC will battle. If you have a rep on your ship, even 10k ehp is going to be fine as the volley damage is not huge in a C2. You probably looking for a lvl3's PVE ship but omni tanked.

There are some variables to the "best" depending on any effects in the WH you are in. I usually fly a shield tanked Hurricane and make sure to watch my shield percentages. The Perimeter Hanger and Checkpoint anoms have a wave that kinda hurts and can require you to warp out when necessary.
Of course, its always more fun to do it with a small gang of four. That way the Sleeper aggro switching helps you survive.
Keep an eye on d-scan though. Someone in a C4 with a static C2 may come and visit

Not at all true. Every C2 anomoly has at least 1 sleeper BS. In some cases only one, but you will encounter them.

I did say ANY BC will do.. and any lvl3 tanked ship.... and yes I also said I used to used a drake.. not you should... but yea, whatever

Both the Cyclone and the Hurricane will work for C2s, honestly C2s are pretty easy and you'll only face 1 neuting BS in one site and a couple webbing frigs in another, the BS can do quite alot of dps but BCs can easily speed tank them even without a prop by orbiting at <5000m.
If you're using a fitting program like EFT, aim for 200+omni tank, if you have exactly 200dps tank you'll be unable to tank some sites with Sleepless Watchman/Outguard spawns if you don't get under their guns quick enough, so if you have low tank I'd recommend an AB. For the Cyclone I'd recommend an active booster setup with Heavies and Artillery in the spare slots for the Cane either passive shield tank or active armor work fine.
Get some extra tank when you first start and once you get the feel of it you can maximize your gank. |

Chiming in to recommend a shield fitted artillery Hurricane. C2 can even be done in a PvP fit if you are very carefull. Do a little research and learn what triggers the next wave. I've also tried a Maelstrom with a buttload of tracking mods and light T2 drones, which work well enough, but I prefer a Hurricane in terms of risk/reward ratio and pvp likelyhood, as well as avoiding mass issues. |

Both cyclone and hurricane work well. It depends on the effect on your wh. IN a pulsar shields get a hp bonus so shield tanking is nice. I live in a c2 pulsar and I passive sheild tank a hurricane with 2 adaptive shiled hardeners and rigs to get resists all up and even, i get 63% em as the lowest of the 4. ANd then put in a web mwd for your other 2 mids. A damage control and 5 gyrostablizer 2's in the lows and ac's in the highs and a cloak for theother high for safety or a neut incase of pvp and enjoy. Passive shield dps tank. Oh and depending on your situation, i like warrior 2's for drones to make the cruisers slow down cuz they are distracted, but if solo and no dual box, use slavage drones. Otherwise a good active armor tank with cap baterry and cap recharger can actually be stable on a cane. dps goes down though.
Lastly a cyclone can work ok, but use an small shiled repper and 2 shield booster boosting mods and itr works ok. Takes a while but it works |
