there are many old school pirates that need props thrown out to them,
tank is the most famous in my mind though, who else has a active movie on the offical archives with the most ebil pirate music ever

tank, stav, lord zap are my most favorite and popular pirates.
But ikvar is well known for screaming the loudest on the forums..
if he is actually a good pirate? i don't know. never fought him.

I own 3 Tank corpses, they're not exactly rare hehe. Don't think I was a good/famous pirate I have never been that inclined to make people pay, much more fun to just blow them up. j0rt was always more inclined to make them pay and was probably more famous too. Oh, and refresh my memory because I've never heard of you let alone remember being your "good pal". Was this on another character?
I do remember Rancid Milk, however, he was in Sinister when our two corps were allied. Good guy.
I'm amazed at the number of forum *****s/personalitlies I see in threads like this. I will not make things personal but some of the people listed are more famous for their forum presence than for their pirating/ransoming skills.
My list would probably be:
1) Tank CEO, an old friend, we used to be enemies but their was always a grudging respect. There used to be a bug whereby Concord wouldnt touch you if you were -10, let's just say he had fun griefing nubs in Yulai with that one. Oh, and anyone remember the camps in Sarum Prime back when it was 0.4 ehehehe
2) Verone/Ikvar, admittedly they may be forum *****s (v funny ones at that) but they do actually pirate too, I know cus they've tried to gank my alts. The threads they make on the forums always amuse me. People say they lack skills, I dunno I've never fought them, would be much more fun to sit in local and read the chat anyway
3) Bobghengiskhan, was always good at ransoming people, good guy.
4) Daakon for his rendition of 'Dancing Queen' ehehe
If I am forgetting anyone, sorry, too many to list and my memory is not the best, comes from smoking soo many Jamaican rollies

Can you do me a favour while you're in this thread? People seem to have a habit of saying "the original Zap" etc now and again... are you the original... or has the account changed hands?

Had some fun there .. especially when forces built up to chase us out. At least then people stood up to pirates.

Allright lots of the pirates mentioned I mostly know from the forums or are mentioned on forums that they are good.
I could say Verone is a good pirate. Saw him sometimes in Passari local, but I have never fought him. So from his reputation I'm saying he's a good pirate without knowing him.
Most of the pirates mentioned I only know by reputation. Like Lord Zap and Tank CEO and they reputation say they are good so I asume they are.
On the otherhand I do know DigitalCommunist and Viceroy. I Sacrificed my Ishkur for them so they could gank 3 bs. So I know they are good.
From my experience from another char of mine I also say Nilkarus is a good pirate. He solo tanked like hell and did lots of damage in the times that SE was Solitude Empire.
And now I'm working on it to be a good pirate too.
Whom might be mentioned next time a thread like this will surface. YARRR!
