as a scout and scanning guy.
the broken scanner really bugs me...
its always laggy.
sometimes it doesnt even show anything cause its that buggy. it needs to be fixed.

Works fine here. Just have to be patient--it'll take ages if you tell it to show 1000000 items.

yeah but that lag the scanner has, takes time which gives those your scanning for extra time to warp out or whatever.
SERIOUSLY the scanner was FINE the way it was before this big patch. Either kill the lag or at least put it back how it was ;o

In my experience, the lag for scanning important targets is never more than a few seconds; usually quite suitable.
Altough it does get annoying if I forget to click the 'use overview settings'..
So, it's not broken in any crucial way, just some room for improvements (like adding scanner probes to filterable objects..)

if i click overview settings, i get zero lag, so stop crying...
i think there actualy should be a set amount of time the scanner takes, it should not be instant, like it is now

Yeah it's more laggy then it was indeed. Kinda like the Assests list in patch before the last one.

The scanner is so much better now.
admittedly its slow when not using overview settings, but with overview settings The Scanner has halved the time it takes me to find people in a system now.
It does need fixing when not using overview settings but DONT RETURN IT TO THE WAY IT WAS, This Use overview settings is awesome I couldn't handle losing it. |
