Edited by: LittleHorror on 16/08/2005 11:23:21 Remember there is a different on using an alt on the same account and an alt on a second EVE account.
Here is some ideas on second EVE account alts
Mining
You can use your alt to haul the mined ores instead of jump to station and switch from mining ship to hauler.
Missions
You can use your alt to pickup the loot from the cans those rats drop.
Overall
You can use your alt to transport your items/gear You can kill enemies quicker, because you have more firepower than 1 ship.
You can concentrate one character on fighting while you concentrate your alt on production.
So use your alt to get into 2 different careerpaths
There are more ways to use your alt but don't remember them atm

updated some of the info.
You probably want to start an alt on the same account, if so you can use them for example for the next.
Put alt in a different region, so you can check the prices in that region and than relog to your main char.

Yes, you can have 2 clients running on the same computer in de windows mode. Just make sure they have different window sizes.

You need 2 accounts to use two characters simultaneously. Alts are good for scamming, thievery, circumventing designed dangers and generally destroy the game without risking your own reputation. Have fun.

Why does it have to be different window sizes?

It doesn't, alt-tabbing works fine (no pun intended)

Using a same account alt character, can you train skills for your primary and alt at the same time, or only one at a time?

Only 1 skill actively being trained per account. Now if you have them on two separate accounts, that's another matter entirely ----------------------------------------------- My name is "Todd". Drop the "T" and it explains sooooooo much! |
