am i the only one that notices a significant drop in damage output of EM Sentries and drones ?
I am using Curator II in the amarr epic arc and they stink. even though the recommended damage type is EM, then Therm,
the Curator II do only tiny damage, but the THerm work just fine
i coldnt care much BUT the range of em sentries is that much higher.. so whats the deal ? am I the only one ??

Theres a guide out there concerning sentries and drone dps in pve. Thermal drones tend to out dps the other types if in range due to higher dmg output and much better tracking... The em drones have the worst or second worst tracking combined with second worst dps.
tldr; just fly with thermal for short range, explosive for longer.

yeah i am aware of these "differences" but still if the resistances of rats are best suited for EM damage, i used EM drones / sentries and it worked ... but now they just suck like something has changed

yes. according to this:

the reccomended damage is em / Therm.
but as i am testing right now, KIN does the job much much better than EM.
so either they changed the resists on those rats or the EM Drones. (which is hard to beliove for me because before DT they worked quiet well against EM rats |

Try repackaging your drones, that should fix it if its the same issue here.

sometimes my drones gets bugged and do awfully low dps if i move them from the hanger then direclty into the drone bay. if i move my drones from hanger then into my ship cargo bay then into the drone bay, my drone wont be bugged anymore. |
