I recently started playing a few days a go and don't seem to have the option to learn any of the 'Learning' skills (or many others). Is there a reason for this? Is there some sort of prerequisite? The only skill sets available to me are: Electronics, Engineering, Gunnery, Industry, Mechanic and Spaceship Command. I'm playing on a trial account so would this be the reason?

no the only limit on trial account it's 15 days, nothing more nothing less.
A lo of skill need other skill to learn them. If you see a skill in the market click on the blue "i" button, you have somes onglets, and 1 with the pre-requits skill.

I didn't think the 'Learning' skills had any prerequisites though? Not at Lvl 1 anyway.

Nothing change on a skill training it from lvl. one to lvl. five, just the ammount of time. Learning skills doesn't req. any other skills.
