I've been playing for a few months and now wnat to dable in trading skills more. I see that Marketing allows for remote selling of items. Lvl 2 allowing you to be 5 jumps away from the item.
Does this mean if I have Item A in system X and I want to sell it. All I have to do is get with in 5 jumps of X and then I can sell it? Will this get me the best price? I maen if someone has a reginal buy order out and someone at the station the item is in has a order for a lower price. Will I get the higher price?

The skill you're referring to lets you start sell orders remotely, say five jumps away as in your example. You don't get any advantage doing it that way over warping to the station, docking, and selling the item that way (other than being able to sell remotely).
As far as I know the selling interface is the same as in-station, so your best price scenario would probably be limited to the selling location only, not regional.
Hope I'm right on this, someone else will correct me no doubt. :)

You have to be docked. Otherwise as Winterblink says, same interface, you can choose your buyer.
Isn't lvl 1 5 jumps? I thought lvl 2 was 10.

Level 1 is solarsystem wide, level 2 is 5 jumps and level 5 is region wide.
That said, you don't have to be docked anywhere. You just need to be 5 jump away from the station where your goods are. The sell order will work exactly as if you were docked in that station
