just checked the last build from today. so first sisilauncher don't work for now, but it will patch if you launch the client.
this build is what we'll got tuesday on TQ, except if they need some emergency fixes.
so here we got ship spinning, as we saw with the old build which included the others CQs... but... well it was better on the old one.
so we got ONLY ship spinning. there are not the others CQs (it was said), nor the new font. but what i don't like here, is the interface.
they do have corrected the bug on the switch before the two view however.
on the other build we had an icon near undock while en hangar view to switch to CQ, it was simple and clear. so it was cool. while on CQ view we had an option while clicking on ship to go back to hanagr view, that's also pretty logical.
but now... we have a little box EVERYWHERE, after the location information on top left. it's always here, that we are on CQ or on hangar view. why this rollback ? this thing is horrible, way too visible, and easy to misclick.
so... will the other system we had on the build with CQ was too bugged to be used on this build ? or you didn't though about this ? |

whine,whine,whine,whine,whine... oh wait? your still not done whining...
anyway, be happy they didn't bring in another bugged version! sireusly. oh noes we don't have other CQ's... like it matters at all... CQ has no use in real eve, let alone in sisi.and no new font? most people thought it was awefull(i loved it) so they are probaly making it better now? and i don't really see the problem with the new buttons on your pictures? |

I agree with the OP that the new button placement leaves a lot to be desired.
The two most logical locations for the CQ/hangar toggle would have been either what they had on SISI before (the greenish chevrons in the neocom) or a button in the station services panel.
Placing the button under the system info box is pretty ridiculous. |

I don't mind the current button layout they have for switching from your captain's quarters to the hangar and vice versa. The blue button that was featured in the the previous mirror with ship spinning probably lead to accidental clicks on the "Undock" button, and that can lead to trouble if a station is being camped by a rival group. An improvement to the current button would be to place it in the right-hand station menu with its own icon. Avatar re-customization is there, so why not this?
I think it's a little weird that the hangars don't have their previous ambient sound effects. Maybe new ambiance will be made for them? (I know a good number of folks who found the Amarr chanting annoying.) I think just giving the hangar views the CQ ambiance when you're near your ship would be fine.
Also, the hangars are foggier this time around. This is most likely due to the fact that the hangar environments used in the hangar view are taken from the CQ views. It's not a problem for me, but some folks may complain about reduced detail due to the fog covering some things up. |
