So, i like listening to music. Who doesn't?
If this is in the game, fair enough i would love to know where it is. If not then this is a suggestion.
At this moment in time there is an in game browser without flash so we cant view videos on youtube (i'd use it for music) so its a lot of Alt Tab to switch the screens and so forth. My laptop gfx card cant cope with that and when i go to desktop i get a messed up desktop with colours everywhere.
So here it is.
The question: Is there an ingame tab or app that can play music from a document on your pc? like an in game media player.
The suggestion: There should be  |

There used to be an in game music players that allowed for loading from the disk drive (called the juxebox). They took this out with retribution 1.0. (the reason being they changed the music to semi-situational, why i do not know, but I'm hopefull they'll reinclude the juxebox).
So in short: there isn't

EDIT:
Like said, their used to be a Jukebox.
What I do:
Mute in game music.
Start Winamp
Play Music.
Play EVE (with all sounds beside the in game music).
Also
IGB doesn't support Flash/Youtube because they are not allowed to use it. It's a copyright thing. |

If you play in windowed mode then it resolves the need to alt tab.
The jukebox ultimately got removed due to cost of ongoing development. Essentially, maintaining a media player becomes costly as new formats are added, etc, etc. It wasn't worthwhile for CCP to continue to maintain it. Allowing an HTML5 browser would probably do the trick but then it would also open a can of worms with a) security and b) maintenance. |

Yeah use fixed windowed mode.
Run just like fullscreen but you can tab out and even let other window sit on top of EVE

Another reason is that they wanted to make the music dynamic; as you leave high sec, the music gradually changes from the anthem of a busy, populated system to the lonely echoes of unexplored space. |
