Was perfectly ok yesterday but this mornin i logged in to start a skill going while i was at work..says its activating my character but then staops halfway through..Just hangs .. i can press escape and pull the options up but nothing but blackscreen there on in..pls help

I too am suffering this problem, create/use an alt to create a Stuck Petition.
IIRC stuck petitions get priority.

Same here. Please sort this out CCP. My character (me) gets stuck on a black screen with the bar saying 'Entering Game'. I try again and again but no luck. Its really annoying and frustruating.

Same problem here, just sits there with a black screen and the loading bar half way. only started happening to me about 20 minets ago after i experianced realy bad lag. The time when it started was 5:15pm EST. |

No one can log in. As also reported here:

my main and my alt are in same system and i can log into alt and play game no proplem. yet my main is impossible to get into game this will cost me loads of isk

stuck here as well, please fix it by the time I get back from work :D
my main seems to be stuck in essence, alt works fine but i don't want to play as my alt :P
EDIT: now my alt is stuck

Okay, chalk another one up for me. This is getting annoying now! Lodged a petition, but to be honest I have never had a reply answering any question from EVE, so I'm not holding my breath here.
And I need to train a new skill now... lost points...

Yep, same here........cannot login! Tjis is getting really tiresome, just too much trouble these days I think its time CCP stop banging their chests bragging about how many souls they can stuff onto their little server park, and start doing some work on expanding the park so that we can get some playable conditions again. Everywhere, ppl are complaining about lag, ships behaving strangely, distance to objects changing from within range to miles outta range in a split second, very very poor client/server sync, etc.
Tbh, I dont care one little bit how many ppl are on the same shard, if the shard's infrastructure is to puny to handle it all!
Get your act together, please! Im actually paying good money for this....on 2 accounts!

Me aswell as my alt are stuck in the loading sqcreen, very annoying when you want to chance your skill before a holiday and you can't ...

Same here. Why does it always happen when you need to change a skill.
Perhaps it is time CCP thought more about fixing the existing game rather than adding more features to it. We seem to be experiencing more and more of these sorts of problems.

I'm having the exact same problem with my character in Oursalaert. My alt can get in but all he does is sit in a region to check prices for me and he's not the character I want to play.
I've noticed the lag and server problems too. I'm new to the game but this stuff is getting me down. I can't be bothered sending in a petition because it'll be hours before they do anything and chances are this will be fixed after down time.
Still, I don't like it and if it keeps up I'll rethink my subscription.
