I got podded on monday by a dom and mega with no sb
I was 2mil sp over my clone ammount and had just upgraded a half hr before getting podded, even though i lost imps and paid out 35mil on clones in a day, i was pretty happy that the first place i docked in system had a medical centre

The one time I got podded I lost a 5m bounty and a full set of +3 (Which I didn't pay for  ), that was due to lag I couldn't warp.

in the old days just after release there was some confusion to what podded meant.
To some it meant losing your ship and getting put into a pod. To others it meant losing your pod.
Current convention podded = loss of pod

There is no confusion nor has there ever been.
Podded = Podded. You lost your Pod.
But I've love a full set of of +3's with a damage mod hardwiring. But they came from agent missions So i've never really counted them as an isk loss because they were free. |

Think he means the lag you get when your ship blows up and u get the deathmail + entering pod thingie which together takes ages, so even a bs gets the chance to lock you before you are able to enter warp  . Or maybe thats just me /me stopped using implants cause of that shi't.

What he means is, I killed his Thorax but as I was in an Armageddon I couldn't lock his pod before he warped out.

try to turn of the "blink" option on mails, it helps a little... I think

I had a full set of +3 implants for about 16 months (+4 hardwirings for less time) and got podded a few weeks ago for the first time in over 16 months (oddly enough). Lag + pod ejection + mail lag + lag = podded.
About ~400m at current prices, plus a 48m bounty, but I just bought a new set within about an hour, I'm addicted to the training speed

I lost my set of plus 3 implants 2 days ago by an interceptor blockade with about 3 med warp bubbles.
Even when you eject from the ship it just takes to long to enter the pod.
And then you get jammed within a milisecond and you die:)
its that simple.
You'll get over it.

4 warp bubbles and a lotta ceptors , i know you enjoyed it..... though..
look at it this way: if someone loses implants all our friendly new players can get rich .
