Now I'm sure we've all lucked out at some point or another and this is my story.

I live in w-space, this character is my main and has spent at least 75% of his time in w-space. I got into it about 3-4 weeks after I joined and am never going to leave.

So today started out like any other day, I woke up pissed off but kind of happy because It was an off day. I had my coffee and logged into eve. I start mining send the orca out to get fuel, create a recruitment ad, read the recruitment channel talk to people and get ready to set up my shiny new medium pos.

About 19:30-20:00 eve time a personal issue comes up and requires my immediate attention. I get up and race out of the house and happened to forget to log out of eve.

I lost a venture but who cares about ventures, you're average eve player pisses ventures. I look at my main (this guy) and realize somethings going on with my small pos. I zoom out and realize I'm being attacked. I start moving to change the stront levels so it would come out when I'm normally on. The guy notices me moving around and says this.

I'm talking on TS trying to get a few people on to help. Its just a vindi and two tengu's I should be ok. I got ahold of one corp mate so I had a legion coming. With my alts and everything I can fly a loki and an oneiros and an exqueror so maybe just maybe I could keep my guys alive and go kill these guys and live to fight another day.

But then all of a sudden on my overview, more ships are arriving, first one then two then about four more. I tell them on TS don't worry about it. It'll be too much to handle.

So I'm sitting there staring at my pos. I'm trying to prepare myself for its eventual loss, because unless I can figure out a way to come up with a serious amount of isk. I'm screwed.

Then suddenly out of the corner of my eye I notice something strange on the overview. What is this? Its a pod...why is some idiot flying a pod to a pos bash. But he wasn't.....There was a wreck there too.

I'm just sitting there thinking...what in the hell, why did that happen? Is this some instance of friendly fire. I start clicking on all the other people who weren't there before. I start to notice something. They are all apart of the same alliance. Then I notice the drone ball on the vindicator, I click to look at it and just moments later, the vindicator is destroyed.

I decide to type in local WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PEOPLE IN MY WORMHOLE in a manner of some guy running around his house with his hands up and no ******* clue whats going on. Not angry, just confused.

However apparently this really upset them. They now have a small pos with absolutely nothing around it and well I think I know when its time to call it a day.

I also am reinforced :(. Overall loss from start to finish will be about 320m if I "can" get everything out.

Also yes, only 300m or so if I get everything out. Nothing out would be about 1.5b maybe? So before you go getting all pissy always remember it'll be ok. I made this thread to share a cool story bro. Not make anyone look bad or good. This is my first corp after all. This is also my first owned by me wormhole that you're coming after. I give 0 fucks exactly what either side loses as I'm probably going to be losing something at least. Oh no not an orca, what will I do? I'll go hop in another cheetah, keep trying and find a new home!

Thats not Highsec, and the only Reason why u loose more than u say 300m (i know wich assets and ships u have there) is because u make this carebearcry thread like a baby who wants go to mummy :) The First Attack was Fail because one Dude 4th Boxed the Chars, thats why the Vindi lost, and sryl the Vindi was Faction before , and clone was not Checked, better loose a T2 vindi to tower bash than other way mates so dont talk so much **** about fitts if self didnt know whats going on. It was a QRF and it was a bit unorganized but dont worry dont happend Again.

Oracle Loss.. he was Dualboxing and Afk Sleeping Tower shoot (only possible by this guys because there guns dont shoot at enemys ..) nothing more to say.. :P after he waked up and fightet the dudes every time get back to the save FF .. nothing to say here ..

Good read, and to the OP, good attitude. I hope you learned from this and continue in w-space as we all know how awesome it is.

As for the other bits, w-space is kinda like the ocean. Even if you are a predator, it is just a matter of time before something bigger comes along and makes a meal of you. Why did they prey on you? Simply, because they can. There are precious few apex predators in w-space and even they have their bad days every now and then.
