There are 505 c4 wormholes. The chances of someone reading these forums and actually being connected to that system is low.
Source: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/List_of_All_W-Space_Systems
Advice? I would suggest that your friend to get scanning. Take any k-space entrance possible.
Hint: No direct K-space to C4s.

Hey,Thanks for the response. I guess we have to just find a exit so we can get more ships and ppl in if a new worm hole is activated what is the life span and how do you determine the life span of that hole. thanks |

You most certainly will not find an exist from C4 to low/null/hi sec, although its possible that you will have those connection at some point. Your scanner should through your static chain and find a connection to k-space. And please read a guide about wormholes, you just don't imagine how much you don't know yet, here's the link : http://fiercewebs.com/arcdragon/joomla/ |

This may help you get started: http://www.wormholefundamentals.com/
There are a lot of resources out there that will teach you about wormhole lifespans and mass limits. Scanning you will have to learn on your own, though there are a few tutorials out there for that too. |

I've always been curious as to if anyone knows if O128 from k-space to C4s is live on TQ or not - given that even assuming its spawned from the k-space side the chances are you could scan 24x7 for ~500 days before seeing one and then taking into account the number of k-space systems they could spawn in and how few of them there supposedly are the chances of someone actually spawning the k162 side is tiny. (Granted its somewhat academic given how small a chance of one happening is even if they are live). When I've asked devs about them I've had somewhat ambiguous responses. |

There's also a connection that would allow a titan through on the database. That one is definitely not live. I lived in a C4 for over two years, and there was not a connection to k-space once in that time. Nathan Jameson for CSM 8! My CSM 8 Blog My Twitter |

Honestly I'm kind of confused. Can your mate in the WH scan? Or is he stuck without probes?
If he can scan, then its just a matter of scan scan scan. What kind of WH static is it? |

IIRC thats a low/null to low/null connection tho, there are no 1800 mass k-space to w-space links - ages back on SISI a dev fudged one to C5 space from null to test what happened but I've never gotten a straight answer on O128s - end of the say it doesn't really make much odds as they'd be extremely rare even if they were live. |

One of two things are happening here:
You moved into a C4 with zero research and experience with Wormholes, and without even realising that they will never have a connection to K-Space
Or
Troll
I really want believe troll, otherwise you have thrown yourself right into the deep and I do not believe this will end positive for you. Especially if you are inviting 'trustworthy' people to join your Corp or for other Corps to join your WH, and annoucning how much fuel you have left.
Please look into joining an established WH Corp (C2/C3) or start yourself off in a C1 if you are adament on setting up as you are. But, hey, it's your subscription.
But, seriously, good luck all the same. You have to 'scan scan scan' as mentioned before. Expect to have to travel through 3-6 other wormholes before you find a stable empire exit, let alone HS. It depends how much Bob likes you.

First, if you really want help, post the j-sig of the system you're in. Second, go to wormnav and look for the locator feature. It may be that your friend's skills are not adequate to the task. If it takes him 15 minutes to find a sig then I think you're in deep doodoo. Maybe now is the time to put your characters to sleep and focus training on Astrometrics, Rangefinding, Pinpointing and Acquisition. Get Astrometrics to level 4 quick. Then Acquisition to level 4. Rangefinding and pinpointing to level 3. Ideally, you want them all level 4 or higher. Then log back in and find your exit. Seriously, takes me 15 minutes to probe a system if there are a shtton of sigs.
If that fails you can always self-destruct taking the express back to hs. Good luck!

mmmhh..... well my advice is, use the same method you used to get into your C4, to get out again. So you know how to scan apparently. If you have a static C5 and C2 according to what you wrote above. A C2 has almost always a high sec exit. So keep looking in that C2 for high sec exit. Living in a C4 myself before, the logistic is abitch to handle in a C4 if you dont have enough people that help with scanning etc.
Anyway, but I am not too sure based on your questions here if you are ready for a C4. As suggested already might need to do a little more reading on Wormholes before moving into a C4 with no empire exits. If you havent known that already but C4 never have K-space exits. You need to find your chain out to K-Space again.
Again if you are certain you have a static C2 connection then its not hard to find a K-space exit, just be careful becuase most C2 are occupied and moving stuff in and out will attract attention. So having a scout is a must in womrholes if you want to move stuff savely.
Not sure if that helps you at all but that are my 2cents.

First off, read the two guides that are stickied at the top of the Wormholes Forum; while one is a bit dated, both are chock-full of very useful information.
C4's only have 1 (one) static....period. K162 is NOT a static; those are in-bound connections....meaning someone scanned that wormhole out, warped (or initiated warp) to it......and could very well be inside watching you at this very moment!
Strongly recommend you get yourself setup using wormnav. takes just a minute or so to set up in your in-game browser. Plus, there are instructions in there to help you with various sig sizes and such, as well as telling you what the static connection is for each w-system you are in.
Lastly, do realize that the unknown is a harsh place, filled with both rabbits and wolves. At some point the wolves will find you. If (ahem, WHEN) you get ganked, my advice is to not whine about it, but instead treat that experience as lesson learned. After waking up in high sec, try convo'ing the group, and maturely ask them wtf just happened?!?!?! hehehe. most times if you are nice about it, folks will help you out....perhaps even get you back into your home...
Anyways, best of luck....always keep a scout out and mash the DS button.

Hey , thanks for the advice if anyone has been to this worm hole in the last 48 hours there was a fleet in here on saturday they only ran the sites and left ...they even landed right on my pos and they did nothing but was too scared to contact them sometime that just sets ppl off to do bad thing lol. But i am taking all this advice and it bettering my knowledge as a wormholer as i want to live in a worm hole... Yes i made the incorrect choice on a c4 but what is done is done just need to get a exit so we can get our team in with other scanners and all that once we do that we will be just fine ... Just finding the freak-en hole to high sec been very challenging ..

Unfortunately most people's 1st lessons in WH space are learnt the hard way. I do sincerly hope that you get the route you're looking for, but unfortunately I believe you may not find it unless you have a way to cycle your hole and have a good WH mapper.
There is some good advice here, however i'd recommend reading the Everything WHs guide another few times and possibly joining an established WH corp for a while to learn the ropes properly.
Good luck (sounds like you're going to need it) and may Bob be with you.

A C4 with a C5 static is probably one of the worst wormholes to start in especially if you've not got any prior experience and questionable scanning skills. No direct K-space connections as mentioned already, and unless you're extremely lucky you'll have to map a chain that's at least 5 systems deep before you get a Highsec or Lowsec exit.
As long as you've got a scanning ship and don't lose your probes you'll find an exit eventually though. Keep an eye out for C1/2/3 connections as they're quite likely to have a k-space static (C2s and C3s always have one but that includes nullsec statics too). Use http://wormhol.es to determine what class a particular system is.

I was wondering myself at calling a C4 a "good" WH ... know what you can handle and what you want to do, decide where to live based on that.
Honestly, I'd be inclined to look for a C2 with C3/low statics in your position (C3/high would be nice but is probably a BIT too juicy a system to keep). That would allow C3 farming and easy k-space access.
Seriously, what do you WANT out of WH, answer that and we could better direct advice. |
