Now, this is seriously getting beyond being funny. Sure there have been times then the condition of the client has put players into valium, but now it seems to be getting worse than it has ever been.
I write this after just crashing in a fight, with no apparent reason for it, and I'm getting VERY, VERY VERY tired of this crap.
Does anyone still remember the time when CCP was focusing on improving the quality of the product, before the next big expansion? Isn't there like a need to do that again, now that Eve seems to be in the guttard, before Kali and 10'000 new bugs along with those bugs that have already been corrected come again?
Isn't there supposed to be a lot of CCP devs and ppl who also play the game? Are they? Don't they have problems? Don't they care?
I was unhappy after Exodus with the bugs and I defused my anger thinking "they'll tackle the bugs now, it'll get better gradually"... well, it hasn't! It's gone to hell in a handbasket if you ask me. Yes, this is a whine and complaint post with nothing tangliable to provide answers how to remedy the problem - but coming up with that is not my job. I personally think the situation is ridiculous and all posts crying about it are well needed in the forums to wake up someone, perhaps the new quality manager that was introduced to the community awhile back, and shift priorities in resource allocation towards fixing.

I must agree. While the client has in the past been quite stable for me, over the last week I've starting experiencing very frequent CTD's. No warning, no pauses or hiccups--EVE just goes away instantly, without a trace. Since my system is EXACTLY as it has been for several months in terms of hardware, drivers, and firmware, there is no other explanation than a buggy client.
Fix it.

too right.. its relativly stabe for me until i alt tab, window mode-alt tab etc. then it will either just spontaniously DIE. or it will crash and hour or 20min or somesuch later.. just desktop me for no reason.. which is bad enough.. but couple that with the (at LEAST once a day) "your connection to the server has been lost" . ok i can accept CCP is having issues with thier server.. but FFS.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the problems with the CLIENT! thankfully i havent died yet.. but its just a matter of time... and i have a really horrible feeling if i lost a coverter because of a CTD they will not reimburse me :(
Please fix this CCP. PLEASE! one more CTD and i fear ill go MAD!

I Dont crash anymore, I Used after the Patch Crash 15 times a day. At the most inconvenient Times usually. Im just waiting for it to happen again. |

Well it seems to me you guys don not even bother to read the
dev blogs.... huh?...
My EvE sometimes ctd's (whatever the hell you guys mean by it) or crash... mostly after about 4 hours of playing 40 sec later i'm back in the game....
And please do not say my system is the same as months back... it can't be you do windows update **** arround with other games you install other crap on your pc.... so it's never the same periode!!!
Yeah i agree with the alt-tab it's a bug and there are other bugs.... but read the dev blogs or the anouncement of the pending patch ..... before you moan....

Well everything before patch was great now after cold war i crash roughly about 2 times a day depending how long i play for i dont mind really but id like to think this is a client problem and not a system one because 1. why have i problems now and not before. 2. i tend not to update windows untill at the end of every month because it has caused problems in the past 3. noticed eve takes forever loading 4. im running eve in low res and all effects off still no difference. and im not going into details of ppl saying connection problems when its fine.
i thank my lucky stars that i havent lost alot of isks and i know ccp are trying their best but if this is a real problem can they atleast say that it is and stop ppl from pulling their hair out and ranting this isnt what i payed for?!!?!
anyway good luck ccp hope you get the bottom of it and i cant wait for the new bug fixes at the end of this month
i only hope it doesnt cause more problems

I haven't crashed once since I replaced my horrible Linksys router. Now before, I crashed every 5 minutes...

So from my point of view who hasn't done a windows update or installed anything During the time it happened Because I was on holiday in another country. Your point would be ?
ALT + TAB crashes me in fullscreen but its ok when running in window mode (Which i hate doing because it all looks so Less refined and lags more) |

i never used to crash and i have been with eve nearly a year its only recently i have started having these random crashes, and it seems a lot of ppl r getting them so mayb its time for ccp to wake up
