ive taken a few system plexes that effected the capture status.
We deplexed a system down one 'blip' only to see minutes later with NO hostiles in system nor plexes taken, spring back to what it was before took the last plex in a matter of minutes?!
Is there somthing going on we should know about? http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/4375/mynewsig2.jpg |

Had it already 2 times. No LP, no change in sys contest status. Petitioned it to CCP and got as answer something like "they know about it". |

Admittedly, I have not plexed in some time, but could DUST battles me a factor in this? I recall one time we were fighting on a gate and out of nowhere the status went up. A friend of mine told me he had just finished a fight in the system we were also camping in. Gave +0.3% iirc, which I found to be an odd number (considering the flat 0.7% everything else gives). possibly. But dust is currently only a random variable to the system contesting bar. Nobody in dust cares for whom he is fighting for or even knows what FW is. Corp matches are used as training ground to test out vehicles. They don't really know that this also influences something else.. e.g system contesting.
this won't change till there is a way to tell them where to fight and where not. (with "tell" i mean eve->dust contracts or some form of lp-donation-bonus-reward-you-name-it which attracts the average FPS gamer). a eve-style bounty system (done)-á dust boarding parties You fail you fail you fail you fail to jump because you are cloaked |

Not entirely correct, the minmatar militia has already cooperated with dust players to capture systems and to make them vunerable. When we did it turnwd out to be all bugged though and the system weht vunurable but we still couldnt bash the ihub. |

thats like saying there is somebody in dust i know who knows how FW works. That was not my point. My point was that the majority of dust players does not know or care that corp battles have in fact a meaning to the persistent universe. And you can not prevent them to organize corp battles for training purposes. Dust is not a sandbox, its a instanced FPS. In a sandbox this problem would not exist since you would show up and clean up the battlefield. a eve-style bounty system (done)-á dust boarding parties You fail you fail you fail you fail to jump because you are cloaked |
