Bigger than a badger II?

Bragga	Posted - 2005.08.22 14:59:00 - [1] Is there a cargo transporter that's bigger than the Badger II? I've looked through the notes but I can't seem to find one? Am I looking in the wrong place?

It needs alot of skills tho (Gallente Industrial Ship V) After that there are certain Transport Ships that are even bigger, but their price is really high cause they are designed to survive in 0.0. and then the Mother off all Transport Ship.. THE FREIGHTER ( fear the capslock), they cost about 2bil a peace, need alooooot of skills, but they can carry up to about 950km¦. Of course they are very slow and not useable for mining ops, but they are big, so women like them. that was it

Therefore the badger2 cannot transport much more then 10000m3 (maybe 12k with very good expanders) The itteron 5 can easily carry 20k with 5 cheap expanders, and can scoop up to about 28k with the best expanders.

Correct - However if you put 2 x Giant Secure Containers in it they take up 6000m3 in the cargo bay. They can then be filled and they each hold 3900m3 (Giving 1800m3 extra). Therefore with 3 x expander 1s and 2 x Giant Secure Containers you can haul 11719m3. I havent tried it with 3 x Secure containers but that would give an extra 900m3(with a full container) ... total now 12719m3. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ...One mans rubbish is another mans treasure...
Letouk Mernel	Posted - 2005.08.22 17:24:00 - [7] You're not limited to Caldari ships, and there are cases where training another race's ships is recommended, simply because they have better ships for some specific purpose. For industrials, the Gallente Iteron Mark 5 is the biggest, but takes a month or so to train the skill to 5. Second best is the Amarr Bestower; this one starts relatively big and you can grow it as much as you train the Amarr Industrial skill. The Caldari industrials were originally intended to have better defenses than all the other industrials, and also back when the game started and industrials weren't slow, they were the fastest cargo ship. Many med slots, some people even used them for EW in PvP (in addition to the hauling of the loot). But with the recent changes to speeds and MWD/Afterburners, as well as the introduction of the armored Transports (T2 ships), the Badgers have been rendered somewhat obsolete: if you're looking for defense you go for a Transport, if you're looking for size you go for the Gallente or Amarr ships.

Some don't go in, like persons, livestock, radioactive materials, and a couple other things I forget; you get a message that if you put the thing in the container it'll get killed or destroyed, and then the game doesn't let you put it in.
