Just curious why any1 would want the extra clutter of bps for rockets? Or kinetic missles for that matter, has to be the highest all around resist damage type.
That brings it down to at most, 13 bps. If you cut out thermal and rockets, that's 7 bps out of all that that any1 would want.

Hi,
First, yes, guilty of a copy/paste repost. Sorry I guess if that bothers anyone, couldn't find the original post to edit, and still had it in the clipboard.
Secondly, while I suspect the whole purpose of the questions in your post was to ridicule my sale offer, while making yourself look superior, I'll ignore those feelings and answer it seriously.
1. I've talked to a number of people who still love rockets. The reasons I've heard are that you can hold a ton of them, too fast to dodge, and not worth wasting defenders or smartbombs on. I don't personally use them, but I don't suppose that everyone fights the same way I do.
2. When I've offerered just EMP or explosive missiles before, people say "I wish you had all 4 for sale" I don't use that many types of missiles myself, but I've found that my corp-mates use different kinds than I do, so together, we use most of them.
3. I don't judge people's missile preference, I just offer them options. By offering just about every non-torpedo missile (less 5) blueprint for a very small fraction of the original cost, and significantly lower than the going rate of similar smaller sets being sold, I give someone the capability to manufacture many different types of missiles to suit any taste (keeping in mind that not everyone likes the same things)
Not sure if you caught the not-so-subtle subtext of my response, but I'm getting tired of reading posts that convey the message "I know better than you" and that's the way your sounded.

Yup. But then, lots of people carry EM and Thermal shield hardeners... If you expect to fight one of these, then Kinetic may be the best missile to go with...

Shield Systems are most resistant to kinetic damage, TRUE. But armour and hull isn't. Hell, I'd rather bet on a explosive/kinetic missile once the shield is down than any EM or thermal missile. I, for example, often used combinations of Bloodclaws and Sabretooths, Sabres to bring down shield and the bloodclaws for the rest.

I agree, though i prefer using explosive and emp. Don't see many hull addons for explosive resist being used. Explosive being the weakest resist on all hulls (pretty sure at least greater majority)
But kinetic? Eh, no. Rockets? 7k max range MAYBE on those depending on if it hits right away.
FOF? crap damage. decent if jammed? yeah, no.
so 3 types of thermal/explosive/em damage missles + defenders.
