this is an idea, atm the Ship Scanners are pretty pointless unless u want to find the setup of a person ur about to kill ( still pointless you would try anyway ). i was thinking why not make a hacking device that hits in a high or med slot that when active the the ship scanner will make a module less effective, say 50% less effective or disactiveates it. so ur being atked by this player and hes webbing/ scrambling so u cant escape so u hack into his/her ship and disable the module ( 1 per hacking module ). or it could work the otehr way round if fight fighting this guy with a huge tank witch ur losing u can hack into his/her ship and make the repper/booster 50% less effective.
i have stated what i think lets hear urs ----------

It's not a bad idea to be honest. It would give a good use to the Codebreaker modules outside of the Cosmos missions, and would have to be very dependant on user's hacking skill level so as not to make an easy to fit all purpose counter to any of the target's setups. Can't see CCP implementing it, but good idea nonetheless...

What about being able to hack in and remotely active their ship's self destruct or eject sequence

Could be quite entertaining. Imagine sitting in a gate camp then suddenly thinking, "What's that countdown for...?"
