There's prototype module in item database, that iirc allows to 'trade' part of cargo space for some extra drone bay space.
No idea if it ever gets published, though.

very good idea, maybe a high slot mod that takes up PG scaled to frig, cruiser and BS that allowes more drone control too

Bah we dont need a mod just give us a way to take drones from our hold an put them in the launch bay, like the vampire drone history. Just make it take like 2 min per drone or somthing so it's just a way to restock drone losses with out having to go back to dock.

that would make amarr the drone carriers of choice, they have cargo holds on par with every other race, yet dont even use 20% on ammo for a full YEARS npc hgunting, so they could carry, hmm, 20 extra heavies and a full load of 'ammo', where as every other race can carry,what, max, 3 to 4 hours worth?

Considering I have had the same set of drones in my ship for almost 2 years, I wouldnt consider having a bit of room left over in my cargo hold because I dont have as much ammo something to sing and dance about...
