Am looking for a few players that would be interested in a movie project of mine.
I don't want to reveal too much details yet except it is about making movies (or close anyway).
It will not take a lot of time from your side except maybe a few minutes and such in the start, and this is an ongoing project without any end as of yet.
But anyway, if anyone feels interested in knowing more evemail or catch me in-game and I'll explain what I have in mind.

Absolutely, there where some concern raised by Ikvar about this and being a wanted pirate so "+" people are needed as well.
And I am looking into something that would benefit wanted persons as well.

So we have done some testing now and it has worked with good results so far, so I decided to tell you all some more here instead, and those interested can try it right away.
Description of my idea:
In simple terms, show live gameplay by streaming the desktops of players.
The streams are not full-speed streams as atm it takes too much resources but I am still working on that, so instead a screenshot is taken every 5 seconds and is being sent to a media server of mine.
Users can then watch the live feeds by visiting the site and opening up the stream they want to view.
Interested in participating and showing your gameplay?
You need two things for this to work.
1. Windows Media Encoder - the software I use to capture the dekstop and send the live stream to my media server. Can be downloaded from my site or Microsoft's. It is freeware.
2. The WME script file - obtained via my site, hold the configuration to make it work.
Installation and setup should not take more than 5 min aprox and has so far worked without too much hassle, basicly install and run script file and press start and you're live.
The idea is to show not only EVE players what others are doing but also showing anyone interested what is going on, showing wars, pvp, mining, pirating and more.
I am sure that there will be more talk about this so I will do my best to make everything clear.

Chribba, on your site under http://www.evelocal.com/script.dxd, the link to download the Windows Media Encoder is wrong, it should be http://www.evelocal.com/wmencoder.zip

As for the squished screens, not sure never tried using duals. But under the tab Sources you can configure the Screen Capture device, maybe it has some additional options there when you use dual display, not sure. Either that or you can capture a specific region.
