I used to be heavily into a game called Dune, in that game there is a planet called Arakis.
I then got into on-line gamed and wanted a unique on-line alias as Demon is heavily used so i thought of Arakis and changed it to Aradon, then i decided to stick Lord in front of it coz i think Lord is the kewlest title about

I made it up but wanted it to reflect my character's race in Eve. She is Gallente, who are French in origin. And she was a 3rd char on this account, which is where the "Tres" part comes from. And I thought of Parisienne so I was hoping Tresienne would end up looking sort of French.
Are there any French speakers who can tell me if it's a correct name in French?

Ussar is a made up name. I tried to think of something that was short and would be easy to type, as well as following regular name word structure. Ussar fits fine.

My character is named after a character ( a Ginaz mercenery) in the "Legends of Dune" books. Read: Ultra hard (although I'm actually a carebear in game....).

I just made it up at the character selection. I think the surname is fitting for Gallente, although I hardly know a word french. And, Jin Freaks might've been a minor inspiration for a first name I like. I'm pleased with my choice.

i had no clue wat my name was gonna be, my brother picked up sum random book, i thnk it was star wars, and found cyrus, so i put that one in .... taken, changed it to syrus .... taken, changed it to zyrus .... TAKEN, added a y and changed it to zyyrus ... NOT TAKEN .... so i went with that
i was gonna go with Hawk .. cause i used to use that in VS-UK (a clan) ..... but it was ........... TAKEN, lol

Having seen The Shawshank Redemption for the nth time a few days earlier, I decided on using "Red" as my first name. Since the history of the Minmatar reminded me of a song titled "Red Sector A" by Canadian band Rush, I figured I'd go with that.

I've done this alot over the years...
I just mash the keyboard a couple of times until I get something that looks cool. Najek Yuma first came about I think while playing X-Wing Alliance, and I liked the name so much I then used it in KOTOR, SWG, and now EVE.
This is how I also used to name cities in Civilizaion 1,2, & 3. Mash the keyboard, erase a letter here, add a vowel there, and you can get some very unique names.

Started off as Unreal, from when I first properly started playing games. I'd call myself, well Unreal only to realise the servers were full of unreals and it's leet speak equivilants so I whip it round to get Laernu.
Was ok for a while but it got wierd to type after a while so with a few changing of letters. i came up with Lunatic.
Which again a lot of people seemed to had. Myabe adding a word like, oh i don't know die to the end will spice things up.

Basically my name developed when i disovered the magical trevor flash cartoon... he was so damn leet i just had to honor him with Magic Trev becoming my name in cs, cz, css, mohaa, halo and EvE... sicne i started using the name in Eve there has been a magical trevor 2 released and in the second cartoon he flies a spaceship and kills stuff.... im honoured

I came up with mine back in EnB. Called that character Tecman (he was supposed to be a crafter). When moved to SWG decided that I need a name that sounds more like a name... So changed Tecman to Tecam and added Hund (random word that popped into my head to sound good with Tecam).

TiO (theinvisibleone) is a gaming nick from my other games i play, RvS Primarily.
Vernichtungsengel my second char, nicked the name from an RPG book, Rifts - Mindworks, she's a cyborg who uses synthetic skin to make her look boootiful, (bad guy), she goes by the name of 'Angel Of Death' also.

I made my name up, its a wee latin (studied that **** for 3 years and its the only thing I used it for)
Been used in RPG, like AD&D, Call of Catullhu etc.
And in varios games I played Like Anachy Online, Planetside(hail to the Vanu!)
But Now I really just play EVE and if u see me in WoW - its my evil twin!!!
