The Uniqueness of this character is only surpassed by its flexibility. Lars could be one of the most complete "carebear" characters in eve.
Find the screenshots of lars' skill sheets at the bottom of this post, and read the rest of this post as you drool over this 34mil SP* industry character!
The only thing that Lars cannot do is fight, but he can defend himself, and no matter what his losses are, using mining/building/market skills he can recover very quickly. I've used this one account to run the entire F-E corp at one time.
He can use all Tech2 mining crystals from the best mining barge in the game (coveter), or mine mercoxite using an Apocalypse, haul all the ore with an occator, iteron5 or viator, refine the ore and any loot at the most efficient levels available, then build any ship in the game (including T2 frigs, cruisers, and haulers; exception being dreadnaughts) using the least possible amount of minerals.
Lars' Trade skills are maxed in the range areas, so he can sell/modify an order anywhere in a region, and can have 93 total orders. The isk involved in each purchase or sale is next to the cheapest it could be because of Lars' Trade Skills.
Empire Control lvl 5! Need I say more? I will...that skill takes more than a month to train, so save yourself the time on your other accounts and get this one!
Freighter pilot! I have already purchased and trained advanced spaceship command to level 1, as well as the gallente freighter skill. PS-I just realized advanced ship command was 73% done, so I'm going to finish lvl 2 for you, but i'm too lazy to update those screenshots.
I have also trained Jump Drive Operation to lvl 1, so don't worry about buying that skill for this character!
Agents: Lars has 5 research agents, and I'll be honest, I never spent any time doing missions, so they are all lvl 3 agents with an effective quality of -1, 0, or +1. Take a look at the next link, it will show that lars has over 150,000 research points built up. I got a T2 bpo from him more than a year ago, so he's due to throw one out any time now!
Lars' Agents
If you hadn't noticed, Lars has AWESOME attributes in the areas of memory and intelligence, making for very fast industry-related skill training. I've even trained the memory and intelligence advanced learning skills to lvl 5. Then I plugged in three +4 implants (memory, intel, social). If that isnt enough, maybe the 3% agility or the 5% AB/MWD speed implant is. Still not enough? The 3% velocity and a -5% wmd cap use implant has kept lars flying thru the gate camps and right past the snipers! In fact, Lars has really only lost a couple ships that I can remember, and has only been podded one time.
A random list of the cool things lars can do:
Deploy Medium Warp Disrupter bubbles, Deploy a POS, use tech2 drones, pilot a covert ops frigate and use scan probes (takes 90 seconds to scan using probes), jam/dampen quite efficiently, build all T2 ships and some components except for dreadnaughts, use ANY implants (cybernetics lvl 5), fly Gallente, Amarr, and Caldari BS, and use RESEARCH AGENTS!
49 skills are at level 5

Most of Lars' gear is in 0.0 space, but I will include an occater and place it in secure space, along with any gear that I have that is not in 0.0 space. I estimate the worth of this gear at 200mil isk.
Also, there are 62 active sell orders at the moment, I will not cancel them, you will inheret any sell orders that are not filled at the end of this auction. I estimate their value at 500mil isk.

glad you brought that up, parm! i'll admit that i mine, theres even screenshots that zarth was kind enough to take, but the great part about lars is that you mine for a week, and you can pvp for a year!
and zincol: increments are supposed to be 200mil; as long as you adjust your bid before the next bidder, i will accept the bid. otherwise, it will be void 
i'll comment on any other bids that are non-compliant with the rules i laid out, and give that bidder one chance to change his bid, as long as there are no higher bids.
also, Advanced Spaceship Command lvl 2 is finished, and i've changed the skill training back to Scrapmetal Processing. When that is done in approx. 48 hours, I will start training frigate construction to lvl 5, since apparently that is what you need to build assault frigs.

I've purchased and trained the following skills to level 1:
Amarrian Starship Engineering
Gallentean Starship Engineering
Minmatar Starship Engineering
Capital Ship Construction
Lars already had Caldari Starship Engineering, but training the other three races will allow you to build Heavy Assault Ships of all races
After Frigate Construction is trained to lvl 5 (only takes 7 days for Lars, and 3.5 days will be trained before the end of the auction) you will be able to build any Assault Frigate, as well.
I should mention that Capital Ship Construction is a 67.5mil isk skill, and I've already trained it to level 1, allowing you to BUILD FREIGHTERS.
Lars can train Capital Ship Construction to level 3 in less than six days, which will allow you to BUILD DREADNAUGHTS!
So, while youre running your own alliance (EMPIRE CONTROL LVL 5), waiting for a Tech2 BPO (>150k RP in ONE FIELD), you could be BUILDING ANY SHIP IN EVE!

I'm sure that the people who bid know that with a character like this its easy to make their isk back, so they see it as an investment. As soon as that Tech2 BPO hits...BOOM, immediate return.
Or, maybe they want to help get their corp's ship building que down considerably, which would make them exponentially more with a great builder like lars.
Either way, there are just too many perfect things about this character, besides the fact that he can't fight (whooptie-do, he gets a little sea-sick anyway), so I can say with confidence that any price paid for LARS IS WELL WORTH IT.

I've decided to throw in all my Tech1 BPOs, mainly ammo, but I do have every single ammo BPO and they're all ME 30 or more.
Its not a ploy to raise the value, but I will have no use for them when I'm separated from Lars :(

Call it greed if you want to Zarth, but I've never had anything more than 1bil in my wallet.
And quite frankly, to the right person, Lars is WELL worth the isk. I'd hope that somebody won't bid just to get a highly-skilled character, I'd expect that the people that are bidding know the value of such a character.
I obviously know the value of Lars, thats why i set the buyout at 8bil, because that's what he is worth.

lol, i nearly ****ed myself when i saw 100 billion! but you're lucky i wont hold you to it!
anyway, the only reason i'm selling lars is because i don't have the time to play three characters anymore, and i'd rather pvp than research, mine, and play the market while waiting for a T2 BPO. i'm sure that the week lars is gone a BPO will come cuz thats just my luck, but i'd rather be done with skilling three characters!
and there's not much competition, lars is highly skilled in all the right areas, with a few surprises thrown in, but he's just not the character for me anymore.
i'll miss him, but i do feel like santa claus creeping down the chimney to bring a present to a good little boy or girl...but this is too valuable a present to just give away
