After downtime, I form a fleet and add 4 squads, a wing, another 5 more squads, and then rename everything. A few hours later we go on an SB roam and I have to do the same thing over again, but using a different layout. Then later in the evening, I have to recreate the original standing fleet layout. Can this process be simplified with a Fleet layout template?
My feature request is to be able to save this Fleet layout as a template. Then when I form a fleet, I can load a layout from a template, which will create the correct number of squads / wings and rename them how I want them.
Maybe the client would store 5-10 Fleet layouts.

Even more nice would be automatic fleet restructuring.
An example: Certain ship types always go to one wing (Caps, logistics, mining barges, etc).

I only do simple mining op gangs but I have several different configurations on macro keys* A few key presses and a 10 ship gang is done.
Perhaps something like that can help you out until/if something is done.
* Only use AUR the scripting language the comes with the (logitech) keyboards or you will be band - no exceptions! I don't know about other keyboards.

Love the idea matey.
As someone who deals with fleets on a very regular basis I have many things I want to see included/added to the Fleet Ui.
And this suggestion you have come up with would have to go near the top of that list!
