No, this is a highly abusable mechanic. |

It's not any more 'abusable'... what ever that means in application to a computer game, than high sec ganking. Ganking a high sec Ice Miner has no repurcussions other than a sec status hit which is no impediment anyway. But if you were able to transfer kill rights to a bounty hunter or hitman or assassin, then there is atleast the possibility of an actual, tangible consequence. |

When you figure out how a pvp'er ganker can abuse this to kill an 'innocent' and does it wtihout a security hit let me know. |

you don't really "get" EvE all that well, do you?
half the reason most people even attack high-sec carebears is to trick them into either shooting first or or falling into any number of aggression loopholes.
i believe there was one where you could get aggression transferred to yourself by repping someone who used an alt to aggress themselves or soemthing, it involved using reps to give yourself kill rights on your repper... enlighten me someone? been a while since i was around anyone that used this trick, however it worked.
basically what im saying though, is that there is a way to abuse just about any and every mechanic in EvE if you take the time, and i can guarantee soemone would abuse the fudge out of this one., since that is how EvE works.
High-sec PVP = Lawyer PVP, whoever can find the most loopholes wins. |

I think there needs to be a clarification on the word transferable here.
If you mean, killrights should be transferable like aggression timers, thereby transferred by remote assistance, then no way.....
If you mean that Johny Carebear got ganked by Freddy BulliesAlot, but isn't a PvP'er, and so gives/sells his killrights to Jane WtfPwner, then absolutely YES!!!!!
I'm not aware of any exploits that allow Johnny Carebear to unfairly get killrights on Freddy BulliesAlot, but if there are, they should be fixed along with this change.
Also, Freddy BulliesAlot should be given some type of fair warning (like an evemail), as well as a delay in the killright transfer (like transfers only happen during dt).
As a bonus, I'd also like the Killrights time limit extended from 30 to 60ish days.
I can't see any other reason why this would be a bad thing....

A potential problem with it would be people creating alts and putting them to autopilot mode through low sec, and transferring those kill rights to their main characters. When you attack someone, you often know who you're attacking and what the possible repercussions are. Perhaps, kill rights could be transferable within a player owned corp or alliance, and only those kill rights that have happened after the player has joined a corp. Again, one should be weary how many times they can get transferred as to not introduce exploit in some way. |

Think very carefully on who Johny Carebare alt of... Youll see how absuable this becomes.
Best part is johnny gives the victim a sense of satisfaction when he kills a rookie ship. |
