Well, i do it till i get the skills that would allow me to have a steady income to replace the losses i will have when i start to pvp...

I am stuck mining not by choice but after losing my battleship on a Duel against a Thorax. I am not happy with this, I will have to mine for 4 weeks to get another battleship. And for what purpose since any jerk in a thorax can kill me. EvE is too much work, 1 minute of PvP duel and 4 weeks of mining. WoW is looking better every day.

I would say because I need the isk to be able to afford to insure and purchase decent ships to venture into low security space. While doing this I am able to get my gunnery and other skills up to a decent level where I Can compete against others who have much higer combat skills trained. Now if ya want to shorten the process feel free to send me isk preferably in 1,000,000 increments. Otherwise see yas in a couple months.

I mine just becasue the corp demands it, need to pay for Verone¦s Hairspray :(.
So i chug veld roids 6-8 hours per day.
So i mine not by choice  .

If you lost a battleship to a thorax maybe you should just stick to mining.

i find it relaxing, and it gives a nice mix of profit (mining) along with interesting combat (Npc'ing)

Whoa ... there's something strangely -zen- about that comment.
Rarely mine m'self, but capital ships don't build themselves, and even though I leave most of my corp to their own devices, I cringe at regional trit prices of 5+ isk in bulk.
