Same...
The Launcher says "Offline: 0 Players", though when I clicked start anyway it let me right in with 22k + players online.
Odd, I tell ya, just a wee bit odd...

I can confirm this. Launcher said offline but logging in works anyway.

Getting Server offline on launcher but able to log in, for about 5 minutes before getting disconnected. Something aint working right somewhere. |

I think the launcher is fukt. I restarted the launcher and now it sayz:
No connection could be made to the content server. Please make sure that your Internet connection is up and restart the Launcher. |

I'm having the same problem. I have an option to start eve but I when I try to log in I get: Incompatible (Protocol) error. |

+1 on the launcher. Status on game-login splash screen if you select "Start EVE" says "Incompatible Protocol". Attempting to login gives a pop up dialog with the same text.

That's what I"m seeing also. When I click the start eve button I get to the client log-on screen and the status next to the username and password boxes says 'Incompatible (Protocol)'. If I supply my username and password I get a Connection Failed dialog box with the 'Incompatible (Protocol)' message again. |

Glad some people have their launcher issues fixed, my launcher still states server offline and I'm not able to stay connected for more than a few minutes. Needs more work on it by the looks/ |

I had to uninstall and re install my client to get it to work again. |

Actually it isn't working, My petition is 3 hours old and remains unacknowledged/unanswered and I'm giving up on trying to play. I now can't stay online long enough for my ship to warp bck to where it should be.
Hope CCP get their act together and get this fixed at DT |

on a serious note.. when i had issues, disconnecting my modem for a moment always helped...
And i know how that doesnt make sense... |

This would be admitting that the problem isnt on CCPs end... and we all know that in GD, EVERY problem begins and ends with CCP.

Im having this problem too :(
It seems to be a problem with the DNS because "cmd:ping 87.237.39.180" returns a response and "cmd:ipconfig /flushdns" doesnt fix the problem.
Anyone have any experience with public services like google dns? or any other fix found yet? |
