Linkage
Reading the forums, it looks like theres a lot of ****ed off people. Most of the ones flaming are saying the game died to lack of advertising, but the devs were good.
Subscriber influx in the future I see.

CCP should take advantage of this as they did with E&B closure. Although the gametype is nothing alike we can probably get plenty of people if we offer deals for them _-_

I think you belong in Out of Pod Discussion. ¼_¼
Talking about mmos and EVE's subscriber rates is related to the game, fool.

The only thing that's surprising is that this took so long. I saw it coming over a year ago when they consolidated half the servers into the remaining half since they were so under-populated. Also I've heard so many bad things about the game, like it's hugely innovative, but terribly boring.

I feel sorry for the AC subscribers, I, for one, know how it feels to put your heart into a game.
However, please keep this thread on-topic or don't post at all.
Thanks :D

This is going to happen more often. The market is being diluted with cookie-cutter MMO's. I think your going to see people jumping from MMO to MMO and only a few will be unique enough to hold long term subscibers.
Goto MMORPG.com and look how many are in development and are already released. And read the overviews they ALL sound the same. There are a bunch of new being released without bringing a new gamming experience.

Yeah the site is full of what can only be described as 70% trash, which leaves about 2000 decent games worth playing, a hell of a market. CCP should have the welcoming commitee standing by for AC2 vets ready to start another epic adventure.
If only peeps would stfu about nerfs for a few months to get em in

I've never played AC2 but most of my corp came from it so they will probably be very sad to hear this.
WoW has hit the fantasy mmo's very hard. Eve appeals to a totally different gamer luckily. ------------------------------

Reading the thread linked to from the 'end notice', AC2 makers are getting a lot of flak.
Possibly one of the 23 # ex: P-TMC | USAC |

As they should be. Games less popular than AC2 have stayed open for their fans. ------------------------------

Its like E&B, except its a crappy game thats closing, rather than a good one .
AC2 is a classic case of sequels sucking more than the original. In addition, it was a game everyone had on their list of "MMORPGs I've heard of" but nobody knew anything about. Yet again, a massive lack of advertising spelled doom for the game. -- Proud member of the [23].

First there was E+B. it had a bigger better spawn called EvE :).
Yeah. scoop the AC2 ppl before they all float to WoW! Nows where all of us lay down and prey this never happens to eve :) Keep up like you are currently CCP and it WILL NEVER die :) (its just too much fun.. if EvE were to close watch someone commit suicide! )
