The GM Team would like to make it known that due to events that will be occurring in the system of Luminaire over the weekend, ships or capsules destroyed between downtime on Friday, March 22nd (11:00 UTC on 22/03/2013), and Downtime on Saturday March 23rd (11:00 UTC on 23/03/2013) will not be eligible for reimbursement.
Players who do not wish to be at risk of in game loss due to ongoing hostilities in the Luminaire solar system should be sure to add this system to their autopilot’s avoidance list and ensure they stay well clear of Luminaire over the course of the weekend. Ship or capsule losses between downtime on Friday, March 22nd (11:00 UTC on 22/03/2013), and Downtime on Saturday March 23rd (11:00 UTC on 23/03/2013) will not be eligible for reimbursement due to the ongoing conflict between the Gallente Federation and the Caldari State.

For anyone wondering why they would do this, the system is more or less going to be a free fire zone.
In 1.0 space.
With the Fed navy and Caldari Navy going at each other.
This will be fun...

Are you saying that losses in this system due to ~nonconsensual pvp~ are normally reimbursed by the GM team if the crybaby loss-ee petitions it? |

Bah. I was in the Gallente militia for several months, and nothing fun happened in the slightest. Since I've left a few months ago, all the fun things have happened (including total warzone control), but I guarantee you, as soon as I rejoin, it's going to be Minmatar Amarr that get all the fun.

No, I think what they're saying is fly here at your own risk that day. Bugs, server crashes, lag, and any other potentially reimbursable cases will be non-reimbursable that day.
That day, in that system, the logs will show nothing.
I find that without a good mob to provide one for them, most people would have no mentality at all. |

You're best to stay out of the militia. It's still going to be a Gallente system, so the Faction Navy will still shoot you.

We won't be disabling all high sec rules (mostly because there are a lot of rules we can't disable without risking breaking everything).

In some other post CCP said turning off the navies is not possible, at least not now.
