I'm wondering if the rarer BPOs are available on market from NPCs like: 400mm Reinforced Steel Plates I Apocalypse Armageddon Covetor
etc.... Are these actually in the market from NPCs or are they in market from players who won research lotto, or do I have to buy copies from another player?
These are also all tech1 bpo's too correct? So they are more available I hope?
Please let me have some clue as to obtain these.

The apoc and geddon bpo's are on the market in amarr space (I am in domain atm and they're there)
apoc is 1,012,500,000 isk geddon is 596,250,000 isk
the covetor is available way out in 0.0 space at ore stations or whatever they're called. They cost :edit: 2b isk.
I would suggest buying the apoc and geddon bpo's from players. You may be able to get a researched bpo for market price.
edit: 400mm plate available on the market in domain for 1,440,000 isk.

You can check escrow, sometimes people put up their bpo's without an auction or advertising it.

If it is a tech 1 BPO you are looking for then: -go to the item database in this web page (top left, fourth link down) -Go to "manufacture and research" -Go to "blueprints" -Search your BPO (in this case, lets say an Apocalypes, so go to "ships>>BS>> etc etc") -Click on the BPO. When you see price, you will also see at the top one tab saying "NPC market" -Voila, you get a list of the NPCs selling the item (in this case the amarrian navy). Check the info on the corp(s) to see where they have stations (check their agents, for example) and then you know for sure where to find the item.
It's always healthy to check Escrow (beware of scams...) and local markets. But if it is tech 1 BPO you are after, this way always works (all tech 1 BPO are sold by at least one NPC corporation)
Hope it helps! -

Then I guess those BPO do not exist in game? (because through R&D you get tech II stuff)
Or is it something that NPC used to sell and don't sell anymore? -

Expanded cargo hold I is listed as a possible bpo reward from some r&d agents. Though personally I would be disappointed if offered one by an agent

The Expanded Cargohold I BPO was the very 1st BPO given by the research agent lottery system.
