Ok here's my "dilemma".
I have just upgraded my systems graphics card, to view Eve the way it is meant to be viewed. Within the game's options, i have maxed out all of the graphics settings, but the game doesn't really look the way it looks in the trailers i have seen. So i was wondering, is there a way to enhance the look of Eve outside the ingmae options? Maybe an .ini file i can edit or should i enable some options within my video card's properties. I'm looking for the nice smooth effects within Eve that you see in the trailers. Thanks in advance. :)

If its an ati card, SengH has said, and i can confirm from trying it, tht eve looks gresat if you go into the 3D options and change from aplication preferences to full antialias and anistropic filter, have to check the wait for sync thing. I'm not on my home computer atm, so i can't provide you with the exact details.

y did the roids change?
The bumb mapping on the roids on release (with the original UI of modules place around the cap display, and stats on the right of the center circle, and the blue hemisphere bowl on the bottom right) was way cool, the mining laser lit up a roid, and u cud "see" all the roughness + valleys + craters. Now they're really flat :/
Also, give us shield gfx! Independance day style!
I'm not really bothered about the eye-candy (although the art is uber pro lol) I have dual 7800GTX's 2GB DDR667, and a P4 3.2GHz running @ 4.0GHz, and quite frankly, it's the look of eve that keeps me playing 
shield gfx wud top it off 4 me though lol

Well thank you for your replies, and cyberstrike, nice pc you got there.
And to Silver, i actually have an Nvidia 6600GT. But i did create a new profile just for Eve and enabled basically evey feature i could. And boy oes it look nice now. Everything is perfect. Made the Eve universe look even better. Thanks again Silver for your help.
