I saw a post on how to update your avatar pic on the boards, but for the life of me I can't find it now. All of the images seem to be there besides the ones for my accounts. Could someone give me a breif pointer how to update my image?

It was my post i will try to find it and bump.
But go to player website
settings
click the boxes
Update.
Should work for ya.
Ok found the post. Perhaps it would have been better as a sticky. Currently sitting on page three and it is called "idiots guide to putting avatar on posts"

We have been trying to encourage people to use the Forum Experiments section for those things. Some threads were moved there and others have been locked with a message asking people to use the other forum.

There is nothing you can to to force an update. There is a dedicated PC that renders the screenshots on our side and uploads them 1-2 times a day. It uses a list of all people that have posted an entry on the forum. We are fine-tuning the pipeline and also adding some new hardware for it to make the screenshots prettier ( anti-aliased ).

Ok so why is it that I cannot see my alt chars? My nieces char Mia is now just a black square after following the check boxes advice and my alt is STILL just an exclemation mark.

We think the black box portrait bug has to do with the video memory on the PC that renders the portraits, and hope to have it fixed once we upgrade the hardware on the PC ( once it's owner gets back from his very long lunchbreak and unlocks it,  ).
