Also agreements never work, someone will break them or a new group will come along and realise they make more money if they don't follow it.

last agreement lasted a year plus so it worked for quite awhile

I really don't see how it could come out any other way, with the current mechanics....
With incursions, there's always a way to, at least temporarily if not indefinitely, stop an entire fleet from making isk, (or several entire organizations, in the case of the mom), and it almost always results in the stronger fleet making even more isk from it. (meaning it's encouraged)
Couple all of that with the fact that incursion runners most often fly under the banner of some channel or another, and you inevitably will get a bunch of groups arguing with each other.

Slightly more ISK in the case of the Mom, but it also kills the isk/hour for every community not willing to fly in lowsec or unable to get standings to safely run an incursion in null, and so is mostly something that a community does to grief the other timezones near the end of their primetime, or when its getting close to the "no one gets LP" deadline if there isn't drama for the sake of modifying the behavior of others.
That said, I have no stance on the recent mom popping other than that has messed with my fireworks plans. |
